Well gmorn/ evening all. Its 9am here, I've written up my fortnightly menu and grocery list. Now I'm cooling off in the pool before we go grocery shopping. I'll keep my eyes open for some chrissy bargains!!!
That is some crazy weather!
Glad the projector was able to be fixed, and is running better than ever. Enjoy your movie night!!

It turned out not so good. The projector ran great through a couple of short reels, then the sound went sour and it started running rough. I was afraid it would stretch or tear the sprocket holes on the film, so we stopped it. It'll have to go back to the repair guy. Happily, he guarantees his work for a year. But it broke up our movie night. Poor Mr. It's really a job to pack up one of those things for shipping---it weighs over 30 pounds.
We have plenty of video to look at, or Mr. can dig out one of the other projectors and set it up. Disappointing, though.

Anyone seen Before Midnight? Seen the other two, first one was good, really good! Might swing past the Cinema for some REAL popcorn and grab a copy of that!
Hope everyone is doing great today. We'll be on the road again in a bit. 1,480 miles to go. Drove 600 miles yesterday as we didn't leave till 6:30pm. I gotta say, going 480 miles on one tank of gas was suuuper nice. LOL Then only paying $35 to fill it up, even better. Though I still love my truck!![]()
Some prayers would be appreciated. Bud had some sharp pains in his side last night about 2 hours after we left. From some other symptoms earlier and this last incident, we're thinking he may have either a kidney or gall stone. Not excruciating, but enough to make him wince and want to sit still. He has a high pain threshold so for him to say something it's bad. He was asleep and I was still driving at 2:30am. I deliberately chose a hotel that shared an exit with the hospital just in case. I think he'll be fine, but I'd rather be safe. ;-)
Hope you all have a blessed and beautiful Saturday!!! I'll probably continue being the driver so no catch-up for me yet. I'm going to try and go 10 hours today if Bud doesn't object, because I really want to see New Mexico and Colorado in the light of day tomorrow.
LOL Last night Bud bought a Christmas travel mug for me that was on clearance at a Kangaroo gas station. Specifically because, 1) It was Christmas and 2) It read, "The Roo Mug." ROFL. Our black Lab, Rossi is nicknamed, "RooRoo," or "Roo," for short. So Merry Christmas to you all as we continue to find Christmas clearance items!

Thinking of taking a run for a Blu-ray for tonight, Any recommendations? Last one I got was Silver Linings Playbook, thought it was really good. Doesn't seem to be much out except for the blockbusters. What's peoples thought on World War Z, any redeeming quality's other than Brad Pitt (I know alot of you are lady's) Any other suggestions?

It's all around his side. I asked the same thing. He said it started right after he popped his back at a convenience store. LOL He was a massage therapist and worked with chiropractors so he knows the correct way to do some self work when needed after training. He had been doing heavy weight training earlier in the day, popped his back to loosen up and then the pain started.
I suggested could also be costachondral bruising from the lift that he really felt after the stretch. He seems to be much better today but still tender in the rib region.
So we're rolling on to Abilene.

I am so pleased the projector got fixed and I am defintely going to find "My mother the car" on your recommendation. I enjoy watching shows with the family members of the actors I admire. Dick's son was in what I thought was the original Battlestar Galactica but it is actually Galactica 1980. Did you know Bill Mumy from the original Lost in Space series has a family member in Santa Clause 2 and 3?
Good afternoon everyone! I am just getting in from a day on the slopes. It has been a great one you could not ask for better weather. Snow still falling for the 4th day in a row. In all 4 days at my house we have received about a foot. I am sure at the higher elevations at the ski slopes they have received more. After today it dries out though and gets colder. Lows in the single digits and highs around 20F. Still normal for dead of winter. It's still hard to believe we are in the middle of January. This morning when I woke up I still had to slap myself because I still feel like it should be the holidays. This year they just went by way too fast. I mean they do every year but this year was like I went to sleep and dreamed about Christmas and woke up and it was January.
Oh well not much else planned this weekend. We are having family movie night tonight. We are going to watch polar express. I think when the boys get a little older Saturday night movie night will get a little better. Not that they are not fun now because I look forward to them all week. but it's hard to keep their attention unless its a cartoon or home alone.I love home alone but it's getting where we are watching that one almost every Saturday night now.lol well I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Talk to yall tomorrow. Gnight!
