We're right now supposed to get 10-12 inches, but we'll see. That is just Sunday into Monday and they're saying this storm could bring snow into Wednesday, us seeing 18 inches here.

One of our local news stations has started to refer to this new storm as Snowmageddon part 17. Which feels about right but is probably a little high. :lol:

Nothing surprises me anymore

We still have 22 inches on the ground, frozen, and lots of glare ice on the roads.

We have had the third coldest winter in the history of the city, and most consistent below zero temps.

I have cabin fever!

Yearning for a "normal" winter when you can still play outside! ️

Not feeling well at all today. We had to go to Chico and I was uncomfortable all the way over and all the way back. I still have the bathroom "issues" and a new problem presented itself last night. It feels like it might be kidney stones or something similar. Hubby is taking me to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning (7:15), so maybe we can get this figured out. Right now, I am so nauseous; but I am also starving! I think I will see if I feel well enough to click "share" on some FB recipes. I am trying to take my mind off the pain. TTYT

I was so aggravated when we were shopping for our crossover a few months back. We had to sit at every dealer for hours just to get a number. We had to walk away from a few that were too high. I wish there was a quicker way for them to give a quote.

Goodness yall are some early morning chatters here! I've been tossing and turning since 2am and decided to get up and Im so calling in sick today. I think it's just pre spring allergies kickin in but it's the stuffy head slight headache slight nauseated blah feeling of just being miserable in my own skin. Anyways maybe it will go away as the day progresses but I am not taking any chances this is what sick time is for.

Chilly yesterday but with some sun and not too much wind.
Downright cold here right now where our back door thermometer reads 27 degrees to start us off.
Should be warm again by Sunday, according to the weather service.

Amen to that! And as for temps, I'd be happy to crack 40F. We've been below freezing for a few days, and that doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.

We are going through heating oil like water this year, below zero for the next few days and more snow coming on Monday. What a winter!

Here we go again! All roads out of town are now closed. Once again we are trapped in a windy, snowy deep freeze.
FM 107.7 Stratford

Perth County OPP have closed all roads in Perth County. They will be barricading as many roads as possible. Please do not drive around the barricades.

However OPP is requesting that people stay off the roads for your safety and that of the first responders.

Many accidents and white outs are making for dangerous driving conditions.

That is tough, at least you were safe at home.

because of all the closed roads there are staff that cannot make it in tonight, so I just got called in to work 5 to 9:30. Has been almost a year since I have worked that late.
Only 4 1/2 hours and I get to work with teenagers so I can stand around and do nothing all night just like they do ! LOL

Still raining..I think that will be the case all day. Still watching tv. and still feeling crummy. Although my brother in California just called and him and his wife are expecting their 3 rd child around Nov 5. So that is exciting news. Nothing else to report just waiting on my Dr to call in a rx so I can get hopefully some sleep and get de-cluttered so to speak.
@christmasstar glad you don't have to get out on the ice/snow...Is march a typically heavy snow month for you guys?

Good afternoon MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Woo Hoo! I've got another hour until quitting time! Ready to go home & crank up the furnace!!!
We had some "excitement" around here yesterday. There was an armed robbery about 5 miles from our house - it was at a friends of ours parents house. Someone knocked on their door & his Dad answered the door, a young guy pushed his way in, pulled a gun & told them he needed a vehicle. Our friend was there on the computer so Dad called for his son & the guy pulled a knife on him. He led them out into their building where the pick up truck was made them lay down, told them if they turn him in, he will be out of jail in 15 years or less & he would be back!
About a month ago our neighbors truck was stolen from the park across the street from our house. He had his truck running while he was walking his dog in the park (at night) & someone drove off with his truck. They found his truck 2 weeks later in Cincinnati, at a Walmart parking lot where the snow plow driver is the only person who noticed it had been sitting there for 2 weeks, the only things missing were his gum & change. surveillance cameras show the guy getting out of the truck, he went into Walmart, & someone picked him up 1 1/2 hours later. WEIRD! Stuff like this doesn't happen around here so everyone is FREAKED OUT! I made Jim go out with Gracie in the middle of the night cuz I was spooked! I hate it! Obviously the guy yesterday wasn't worried about them recognizing him (everybody knows everybody here) so where are these people coming from??? They need to go away! UGH! The Sheriff thinks the 2 incidents are related - hopefully they catch them soon!!!!!
My co-worker & his wife (who are also friends of ours & huge dog lovers) are coming over tonight to see Gracie. Looking forward to it! Hope you are all having a great Thursday!!!

Scary stuff! I hope they catch these guys soon.
