Spring has officially returned to our town! The Dairy Queen is open!

All winter the sign in front has said CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. But this morning it says DQ IS OPEN / SPRING IS HERE! No matter how cold it is this weekend, we'll probably be there for an inaugural dish or cone of soft-serve.

Time to add the Hawaiian music back into the playlists.

I have never been to Dairy Queen. There is only one on Long Island, it opened up not that long ago. I need to get there one of these days!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 64 today!!! I can't wait to get out there and enjoy it!! Mom has to go in and get her blood checked here around lunch time and then I have to go to my sister's house for a bit to drop off some stuff we picked up for her. Then I will probably take mom to the store to walk some more. Way to many potholes in the street's in our complex to have her walk here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The potholes are just awful here. My father got a flat tire from one. My daughter's boyfriend also hit one and had $600 worth of damage to his car!

Good morning MMC! HAPPY FRIDAY! I am bursting at the seems to get out of here (work) today! 12:15 can't come soon enough. Feeling cooped up & it's nice outside! :smile: I'm walking with my neighbor girl this afternoon. I need to go to the store either today or tomorrow morning - I'll see once! Other than that, I really don't have any plans, other than making soup & pie before Sunday! I'll be opening windows at home. Love that fresh air!

Our local ice cream place opened March 1st. I haven't been there yet but I hope they brought in some space heaters for the employee's because the building doesn't have heat!!
