Oh no! I just ran into Carl and he said next Wednesday, for the first official open house night of spring, and in an attempt to get Jayish more involved, he's declared it "Leopard Print Thong Night" at the hot tub! I assured Carl I'll be at the Pines as usual but will not be participating in that. You all have word! I'm very afraid!

Sounds like it'll be crazy!

Pines aside, I also spoke with Jayish via FB to see if he'll be broadcasting live in July again for CIJ. He said nothing is official yet but he thinks so. Can't wait!

Good Friday afternoon all! Got out of work early. Was one of those weeks. Sheesh! Glad I am home early! Yesterday William turned 5! Tomorrow he has his friends over to Adventures on Wonderland play building. Should be fun!

At TJX, I have every other weekend off. And thank God this is one that I do! I'm exhausted from working both jobs this week, and not much sleep. Next week is my last week of the CEC position at TJX. And then I'll have every weekend off at the chiropractic office.

Spring has officially returned to our town! The Dairy Queen is open!

All winter the sign in front has said CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. But this morning it says DQ IS OPEN / SPRING IS HERE! No matter how cold it is this weekend, we'll probably be there for an inaugural dish or cone of soft-serve.

Time to add the Hawaiian music back into the playlists.

ours has been open for some time now, people are lining up in the snow to have some. We Canadians are tough!! (this is not an indoor one, you have to line up outside to get your treats)

Thank you, snowflake! The chores did go by fast. Palmer and I were able to watch a couple of Doris Day, Rock Hudson comedies and play chase for a bit.

You're welcome! I agree, he is a love! Yes, we both need to be seeing some warmer temperatures and lots of sun and soon! The elusive 1 - 3 inches of snow is back in the forecast ~ hope the majority of the forecasts are wrong. I have a big shopping trip planned for tomorrow. Have a great weekend!!!

Very slow day at work, I hope tomorrow it's a bit busier because today seemed to take forever.
LC had a great birthday, he was so excited all day. We gave him a nutcracker that we picked up back in December. He loved it, but his main gift he will be getting on Saturday at his birthday party.
I actually get this weekend off!!!! Wooooohooooo!!!!

Has anyone heard from Seawaters or Virginia lately? It has been awhile since they have been on, I hope they are doing well.

Hey all, just getting in again from working another double...Got my paycheck stub today, had 46 hours of overtime on my check (boy, uncle Sam just loves me....)! Not much going on with me, just work, work, work and I was also told tonight at work, to expect it to stay this busy, all the way thru the middle of April and possibly into May.

Lisa and Victoria is taking a bus tomorrow morning and they going to New York City (Times Square), to do some shopping; it's their first time there. I have to work and cannot go, that bothers me (them going by themselves) and I'll end up worrying about them all day... I guess I know where my overtime money is going, LOL...

I hope everyone is doing well, take care...

It's going to be partly sunny today with temperatures in the upper 40's. The mild weather will continue through the weekend and then the temperatures will drop again by Monday. We may even get some more snow next week.
I'm feeling kind of tired again today, thankfully I don't have too much planned. I will be working on some chores around the house. I also need to make a grocery list and go to the butcher and then pick up a prescription at Rite Aid. And since it's going to be nice out today, I may try to take the dogs for a walk and see how Maggie does.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 64 today!!! I can't wait to get out there and enjoy it!! Mom has to go in and get her blood checked here around lunch time and then I have to go to my sister's house for a bit to drop off some stuff we picked up for her. Then I will probably take mom to the store to walk some more. Way to many potholes in the street's in our complex to have her walk here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Friday! Another week over! It is dry this morning so my youngest and I went to the shops to pick up a few things and then took the long way home so we could look for signs of spring. I just finished some house chores and now I am having a cup of tea before doing some work while my little one is asleep.

We have a pretty quiet weekend planned indoors. I will be working on Sunday so I am looking forward to tomorrow when we can all be home together at the same time!!

Ours is walk-up only, too! And we've also been known to line up for soft-serve while snowflakes are whirling around! I particularly remember one Saturday afternoon we went out for lunch and it started snowing. We both said, "Let's stop at the DQ for dessert on the way home!" And we weren't the only ones lined up in the snow, either! So I guess this time of year New Englanders have a bit of Canadian in them. Have one on us!
