Just wanted to let everyone know that at 9:40 this morning EmiSunshine & the Rain will be performing on the Today show. They are from the small town we live in. DH & Emi's dad have been friends for years, we've travelled with them, DH has played keyboard for Emi in the past & DD played her first public performance on drums with Emi singing last year. Our little town is all abuzz this morning!
She has lots of her songs on YouTube. You can see some of DH playing keyboards for her!
Hope the appointment goes well, buddy. Travel safely.
((Hugs))
Goodnight!

Oh great! Weatherman just interrupted a TV show to tell us the storm will produce winds up to 60 mph and hail up to golf ball size.
Awesome! Congrats!
Who? Her DH or Luke Bryan?
So then, Friday evening with a glass of Merlot and Disney's Christmas Carol.
Football (or Soccer?) with the boys tomorrow and Sunday am...
Mrs TSAH's birthday and Mother's Day on Sunday...
No work on Monday as I am taking the last day of my vacation entitlement for the year...
Do weekends get any better!!!

My headache is finally gone. It was a doozy!
Thanks for asking![]()
I have a phobia about them, too.
We do not get as much severe weather as you get in Texas, but I will not live in a house without a basement. My dad had several stories about tornadoes he witnessed, including this F-5 that hit near his house. I was raised to keep tabs on the weather because of the near miss my parents and older sister and brother had that day. If there is a severe storm watch out, I definitely stay alert! I so wish you had a basement!!! I will keep you and your family in my prayers, CAH!
Whew!!!! What a day!!!!
The children's museum was fun. It's pretty small though and filled up quick. So we only stayed a couple of hours. My niece's favorite thing was the area where you got to see how things in a house work. More specifically this-
After we left the museum we went across the street to an area called The Commons. They have several restaurants there and a giant indoor playground for the kids that I wanted to play on to-
Then since it was still early in the day, I drove the 15 miles to the biggest state park in Indiana and spent the afternoon driving around to different playgrounds and stopping at lookouts like this-
My dream is to one day retire in this area of the state in a beautiful log cabin.

I'm going to take a couple of cold pills and try to get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning.

Good evening, MMC!
I hope everyone is having a good day! The gray, dreary day affected my mood today ~ feeling much better now. Chores are waiting for me so I had best get going. Have a lovely and safe evening, my dear friends!
Merry dreams!!!

That's all in fun and Wayne laughs about it but forgot to mention this. When my little doggy Chico was alive we use to tease how I loved him more than Wayne. Chico and Wayne would be in the same room and I would say, "I love you" Wayne would say, "I love you too"! I would reply back, "I was talking to Chico"!!! We cut up a lot as you can tell!!!
I sure do miss my Chico!!!

Well I have to take mom to get her blood checked first thing in the morning and it's supposed to be snowing. So I'm not sure what time I will be able to check in tomorrow. I hope you all have a GREAT DAY though!!!!!!!!!
Goodnight, Everyone!!!!!!
Good evening,
5 days of 6 in a row done, just get through tomorrow and a day off awaits. I have to stop coming in here so late, I should be asleep.
I love coming here everyday though, so sleep can wait a little longer.
Not much to really say tonight, I did get a new book, "Christmas In America: A History" by Penne L. Restad, it is right up my alley but it is at least three books away from being read right now. I have a couple others that are first in line.
I must shut my eyes for the night, I am exhausted after this long week.
Good night, everyone.
That's awful! Although I like watching the lightning, I would be frightened in a weather like this. I hope the storm will pass safely to you.
I hope you will feel better tomorrow. Good night's sleep always helps.

Good early morning!

It's nearly half past seven here and I've been since around 6am. Weird, I know but it happens sometimes. ^^
I'm now listening to my favorite Lithuanian radio station and scrolling down 'Pinterest'.
Have a nice weekend everyone! Best wishes! xx
Nice pictures, especially the view in the last one.
Someone left the seat up!!!!
