Yesterday I went through my media files on my notebook.......and what did I find? I must have downloaded a costfree Christmas Movie.......lol....Kandice and I were very, very surprised and will probably watch it tomorrow

Friday was Kandice´s first day of Easter Break.....two weeks off from school.....not sure yet what we are goin to do.....maybe driving to a zoo.....of course coloring the Easter Eggs....when she is in her handcrafting easter thing at our church...I will go to the stores and get the Easter Gifts and candy for the kids....Kandice will probably get some small outside toys.....crayons for the streets, maybe a badminton set or something like that

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

The rain was pretty heavy last night, but the bad storms seemed to stay to the north and east of my house. The seasonal creek has rushing water in it right now and the forecast is calling for a potential of 1-2 inches of rain tonight into tomorrow that will change over to 1-2 inches of accumulated snow. Flood potential is very high again. As of this moment, it is going to be very interesting around here over the course of the next day or so, but the forecast could still change for the better.

I have a lot of chores to do so I will talk to all of you tomorrow!

All of our stuff is moved in... but there is still so much work to do. I'll post pictures eventually. We love the new place. So does everyone else! It's a great neighbourhood and a perfect apartment. As I said, it is not quite where we want it to be. Hopefully everything will be done this week!

I am entered in another cake competition. This one is actually not until November, but I am signed up now because the first 50 entries get a gift bag and a $50 gift certificate for the store. (and the gift bags are amazing!)

Theme this year is anything Tim Burton.
I can do what I want, it can be about his movies, his art or him. I can do one tier or many tiers or a sculpted cake. I am glad I have so much time to think about it and work on it. There is so much content about his work.

It is right around the time of the gingerbread house competition, so I will make sure to get most of this done early (will be a dummy cake anyway so I can make it well ahead of time)

That's great! Can't wait to see pictures!!!

Good evening all my Christmas family!

Warmer weather has headed our way. I don't want it lol. I want the snow back! But we are supposed to get a light dusting on Wednesday. I will have to post some pictures if it does snow. I have some BIG NEWS! First I have to share it with my family, then here with my Christmas family! I had a friend over on the weekend. Wife was out of town so I had a Christmas movie marathon with a friend. We watched TLC Crazy Christmas lights, invasion of the Christmas lights and Home Alone 1. It was great! Well back to my show! have a good evening everyone!

Good Morning! How was your weekend? I hope it went how you expected it to go. Ours was a good one. Friday night the children put on a talent show for us, they were so funny. We spent Saturday just doing things at home. Mr. Festive was out on the night. One of his best mates was visiting from out of town. I let the children stay up a little late and we watched some TV and played some games. I was at work yesterday and it was a really hectic day. That is pretty much our weekend.

The morning is sunny and bright , the perfect start to the week. Everyone is off so we have a few things planned. I am also off this weekend as it is Easter Yaaay!!

Anyway, I just popped in quickly to say Hi. I have not been able to read and reply to posts so I hope all is well!

My Mom is having some trouble with her hip, she injured it playing tennis & again when she was thrown from her bike. And I guess the pain is pretty bad, she is in physical therapy and using a walker right now. Could you please keep her in your prayers?

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with temps falling from the 60's at midnight to the upper 20's by this evening. The rain should turn to snow at some point but it looks like we will only see a dusting if it sticks at all. Not to much on my agenda for today. Just have to do the normal daily chores. I know what you mean, Meceka, about missing Mouse. We miss our Baby so much. All of her photos are on a slide show on Hubby's computer, so I can see her every day. When I was a teenager, I would NEVER have thought how attached I could be to a cat!!!

-BREAKING CIJ NEWS!!!!!

Well I thought CIJ would be the weekend of July 25th,26th, and 27th. It looks like I may be wrong though. Jim Shore just released his updated QVC Schedule and he lists a show at 6am July 19th then he's not back on until July 31st. So CIJ has to be the weekend of the 18th, 19th, and 20th or Jim Shore isn't going to be on during it. Which I find hard to believe.


So I'm going to call it and say mark your calendars for July 18th, 19th, and 20th!!!!!!

Good morning and Happy Monday!
The temperatures will be dropping a bit over the next couples of days and we are expecting a wintry mix over night.
Typical day for me, I have chores to do and errands to run. I am also bringing Maggie to the specialist later this afternoon. I need to go to her veterinarians office this morning to sign out her X-rays and test results to show the specialist. I hope we can get some answers, she was up coughing a lot last night. I feel bad for her and I am exhausted from lack of sleep. Wish us luck!

Well, The Music Man is finally behind us, and Elizabeth loved every minute of it! She looks so grown on that stage, oh my. I'm looking forward to a break from play practices, but auditions for the summer play, Oliver Twist is next week. How will I ever survive this?!? :-D And she want to tryout for a singing and speaking part this time.

It's been in the 80's all week, and I've been struggling to keep the pool clean and clear. The water is almost warm enough to swim. nice!

Well, The Music Man is finally behind us, and Elizabeth loved every minute of it! She looks so grown on that stage, oh my. I'm looking forward to a break from play practices, but auditions for the summer play, Oliver Twist is next week. How will I ever survive this?!? :-D And she want to tryout for a singing and speaking part this time.

It's been in the 80's all week, and I've been struggling to keep the pool clean and clear. The water is almost warm enough to swim. nice!

I hope your pool clears up soon. My husband peeked under our pool cover over the weekend and it looks like a swamp! He's going to have his work cut out for him.

I have a prayer request please - my brother in law went in for a heart cath this morning & now he is next in line for the next available operating room! His main artery is 95% blocked! They said it's the kind where you're alive one minute, dead the next. So glad he went in to get checked, but UGH, I hate it! My sis is very upset (obviously) but their 2 kids are on their way to the hospital, my niece should be there soon.

Prayers on the way. It's great that they found the blockage before it caused a heart attack.

Any surgery has risk, but I've had three heart catheterizations in the last year and half, and I had no problems associated. He'll be on blood thinners for quite a while, and it's aggravating to bruise easily or bleed a lot from a scratch...but it beats the alternative.

Edited to add: Ooops, I see that he's already had the cath, and now needs surgery for more than a stent can help with. I'm sorry I misunderstood!

Spotted these on the way to work, so nice to see the flowers coming up again!

Beautiful! I noticed flowers blooming over the weekend too. Love it! Just in time for the big freeze the next 3 nights. Geesh!

The flowers are so nice to see again.. my vegetable garden is even starting to come alive! Spinach, lettuce, peaces... buds on my blueberry bush and my strawberries have their first flower! So lovely after the winter.

Awe - jealous! We haven't even been able to get our garden tilled yet. Always so wet!! We are way late this year! ENJOY!!!!
