Thanks! We did enjoy the movie & the severe storms did miss us, but we did have some thunder/lightening = Gracie's 1st storm & she did NOT like it! I felt bad leaving her for the movie. Poor girl. Thankfully we only had a few rumbles of thunder.

Poor Gracie! Hope they get better for her, after she gets used to them.

Harlowe is still a bit nervous, she has only had one season of them under her belt.

Wow!! Someone else actually has had it!!! We like to kid her that she gets stuff that no normal person has ever had before.

She was already on a anti inflammatory for the pleurisy but they went ahead and gave her a stronger one and a pain pill.

Hope your sister is feeling better quick. I have never heard of that, but it doesn't sound fun!!!

Good Morning!

I felt so awful yesterday that I went to sleep with a sink full of dishes - I hate doing that! I got up this morning and Wayne had the whole kitchen cleaned after he had a long hard day at work. That was so sweet of him, I was going to clean up that mess this morning! He is always so helpful!

I am sitting here with a cup of coffee and snuggled up with my doggies!

Hard to tell right now because I just woke up but hoping I have more energy today. Then my granddaughter and I can do this when I put some music on...

How sweet of your hubby!!! I hope you are feeling better today with lots more energy!!!

Rain, wind, cold, Too early to be up......Yuck! It's a good day to stay in bed today~

Good morning!
We are expecting heavy rain on and off today. It's also going to be windy and cool. We will only have temperatures in the lower 40's.
Thankfully I do not have any errands to run. I'll just be working on daily chores and I have a few phone calls to make.
And it doesn't look like I'll be able to go for a walk outside today so I'll go on the treadmill later. I lost a few more pounds so I'm down 10 pounds so far. I picked up some light dumbbells in Target. I'm going to add some dumbbell exercises to the cardio. My daughter is going to help me since I have no idea what I'm doing!
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Great job HMG!!! Congrats!!! I have been doing a lot of walking - 75 miles in April so far - hopefully can get another 4-5 tonight to end at 80'ish! I was aiming for 100 miles. I did get over 100 miles if I can include bike riding! :grin: Hope you have a great day. Good luck with the dumbbell's!

It is a cool 35 degrees, rainy & windy day! But after our week and a half of rain straight, the grass, trees, and flowers will be beautiful!!

It is my sisters birthday today!! I wish I could spend the day with her, but we'll see each other over Mother's Day. it's so nice to know that I'll see family again, soon. Still excited over that!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth is finally feeling better, and she went to school this morning. She and Jacob were both chosen to represent their grades at the regional spelling bee that was orginally scheduled for today, but the threat of bad weather forced them to re-scedule for next week. The weather isn't as bad as we feared, and this gives her a chance to get better (and catch up on missed school work) before the bee. I'm really proud of them both for being selected out of everyone in their grades!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a cooler day here with a high in the low 60's and more rain. I still have a few more things I need to get done before I leave tomorrow night. Good morning MMC! It's a dreary morning, but the temps are great & no rain! I think the weather is supposed to improve as the day goes on ~ bring on the sunshine!!!
The movie was excellent last night. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very entertaining! No wonder I was hearing such great things about it! :grin:
I got the lawn mowed before the movie. It really was too wet, but it's done - for a couple days. Lol!
