Christmas Countdown - 2014

Thanks to everybody for all the prayers! The colonoscopy & the edg went very well yesterday with good news after. There is no cancer. (someone needs to talk to the ER doc for freaking out a room full of 10 people at 1:00 in the morning. Why would she say she thinks it's cancer when she really had no idea?? Grrrr) Anyway - he has a bleeding ulcer & diverticulosis. He is on meds for both. Today they had him up walking. He had to get 2 units of blood today b/c his hemoglobin was low again. They think the ulcer is still "oozing". They are doing a hida scan to check his gall bladder today & speech therapy is coming in to check his swallowing. He's got all kinds of things going on...but thank God it's not cancer! I'm heading up there after work! Hopefully they can get this all under control quickly!!!! We have a big town festival this weekend & he wants some turtle soup. Ha ha ha!! (they told him he could have it if he dilutes it) :smile:

Good afternoon, everyone! Hope you're all having a great day! It's been raining most of the day here.

The kids and I are just hanging out on the couch, watching different DVDs - right now we're watching the Charlie Brown holidays. We're currently watching "Charlie Brown Christmas". We're cuddling under a blanket. With the central air on, I can imagine it's winter!

hideho everyone! I HOpe You guys are doing good! All fine over here.....well....with Kandice........my health is another story........I probably have to have surgery on my left ear because my eardrum is broken....the doctor said it doesn´t look like it will grow back together by itself. This ear is my weak spot.....Had surgery on it because of the broken eardrum in December 98 and then again in January of February 99......and on the flight back from the States in August 99 it broke again...but grew back together..........Now it seems that it won´t grow back together.....not cute....but oh well....nothing new to my ears..............I also need a gastrokopie.....because I have reflux......of course.....I always imagine the worst....I´m terribly worried of it being a cancer or something horrible like that.....The doctors have said that they don´t think it is anything bad......The doc who will do the gastrokopie looked at me like I was crazy and said "Now why would You have cancer?".......when he saw how afraid I was, he said "I´m pretty sure it´s no cancer"............It would be very nice if You could say a prayer or two for me

I've not been on here in eternity...but this time of year always brings me back....had the opportunity to go to A Christmas Story House during the month of May. Was well worth it...had meant to go out back and shoot my eye out but it was pouring rain by then. Will post pictures if I can remember how or can figure out this tapatalk on my phone.

I know it's been a long time everyone, but it has been very chaotic here in Montreal and I was very stressed. It is getting better.

I am so happy that it is NOT cancer, sorry I was not here in the beginning, but I tried getting on the other day, but I was blocked, second time that's happened......getting a bit paranoid about it.....hhhhmmmmm.

Enough about me, I'm sure you and your loving husband are very releived it's not the dreaded cancer, we can give thanks to God above for that, for sure!


I can't believe it's SIX MONTHS till the Holdiays!!!!

And you are watching Charlie Brown's Christmas shows!!!!! How fun is that. Matter of fact just a week or so ago, I started to hum some Christmas song......couldn't tell you which one, but I knew at the time it was one, I was quite surprised.....that out of the BLUE......WHAM! Christmas song.


I will confess though, I am, along with millions of Montrealers that SUMMER has arrived and it's warm, sunny, and glorious! I can wait for the snow, it was a long cold, blustery one this year, I can wait, and enjoy the JOYS of SUMMER!
