Good morning folks! Tuesday, another day into the work week and seems like we are being blessed with some cooler than usual temperatures; I'll take it. Can you believe that we will be in the first week of August already on Friday, wow, things are starting to move along now. By the end of this work week, will have lost an hour of daylight since June 22nd....
I've was busy this past weekend, keeping up with the yard work, seems like every time we start to get some rain, the grass grows up to 10 inches deep in the lower field. It gets a lot of water run-off from the horse farm next to me, so all that good fertilizer, washes down across my lower field and the grass loves it down there....
We have been consumed with looking for another house, we put a contract in on one yesterday, but have not heard anything yet from the homeowners. I think that there is about a 60/40 chance in getting it, but I truly believe that the homeowner has been busy in calling up other relators that have brought other people thru to look at it and see if they can beat our offer that we put in for the house.
I don't blame the guy, I would do the same thing as well, he wants to get as much as he can for it. We put an offer in that was lower than what he was asking for, because it has been on and off the market for two years now (because he was asking too much money for it) compared to other comps in the neighborhood; beautiful home though and very clean and very well kept.
Were keeping our fingers crossed, hoping and praying for luck to be on our side with this one. I have to always keep reminding myself, that if it's meant to be, then in his way, God will show us and them, the way~

Refrigerator is plugged in on the opposite side of the room, but no water is hooked up to it. I know it's progress, but boy I miss my sink already. Amazing how many times a day I use that sink! We'll get through it! I started working on an afghan for my friend - housewarming gift. I really like the colors, but it's made using 3 strands of yarn together & it seems really really thick. Maybe toooo thick! We'll see! I could always donate it to a homeless shelter if I think it's going to be way too warm for her!
