Good Tuesday morning MMC! So much for getting caught up yesterday! Now I'm really behind!!! oint:

Today the bosses are both gone - the funeral viewing is this afternoon/evening. Of course I wish they were gone for different reasons, but it's nice to have a quiet office today ~ I already have Christmas on tv in here!! :smile: I'm listening too "Finding Christmas" in the background.



And I got a "How to Host a Stress Free Thanksgiving" email from Food Network I'm checking out this morning. It's making me excited ~ and hungry!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy cool day here with a high of 53 later this afternoon. I have a few things to get done around the apartment this morning before we take off for mom's appointment. I also need to run and vote at some point today since I never made it out to the early voting location like I had planned. Of course, all of that depends on my ability to get off of here. LOL!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmmmm - hope it was delish! I bet your house did smell amazing. Love that smell! My candle lady has a "banana nut bread" candle that smells pretty amazing too! Makes ya hungry! ENJOY!

Finally all caught up, I was trying to get caught up last night and I fell asleep. The last week finally caught up with me. I didn't get any decorating done yesterday, we went to 4 stores trying to find some of the stuff I needed. None of the stores had it. They were just starting to put out their Christmas stuff, I was so disappointed.

Day off tomorrow, the little demons have it off too, so not much relaxing tomorrow. I may try to get some decorating done tomorrow.

Morning all! Haven't been around for a few days, been so busy!! Hope you all had a great halloween!! we did! the girls dressed up and looked great!

Its been a mad few weeks in my new job, its abit surreal at the moment as Ive been promoted! ive only worked for them 8week! They are a big company but have only just started working in schools in the area i live, we only have 9 or 10 schools here so far, the area manager for this area has left so they offered the position to me!! Im just training my replacement this week then start from monday!

50 days to christmas! Can not believe ill be putting my tree up in 3 week!!! OMG!!

Well gotta dash to take the girls to breakfast club so I can get to work! Have a great day xmas friends!!! xx

Merry Morning all! My eldest resumed school today after mid term break. Missing him

Tomorrow is Guy Fawkes/Bonfire night here! People usually go crazy with the fireworks , hopefully it won't carry on till to late.

We are experiencing an Arctic Blast for the rest of the week - it's the coldest it's been for the year!

As we had such high temps over the last few days, the sudden cold will take some getting use to! :cold:

Anyway, I have some work to catch up on , some house work to do and I need to start some Christmas shopping online!

I did not get a chance to do anything at home yesterday like I wanted to, just one load of laundry. My mom and I went running around all day and I treated her to lunch. We had a great time!

My tree is up but have yet to bring down my Halloween decor! It will be a rainy and chilly all day so it's a good day to take of all that and get things done around the house! Time to blast the Christmas music and get busy!

Good morning! Happy Tuesday to all! And remember, it's Election day, so get out there and vote here in the USA!!!

Oh man, it's like almost impossible to get caught up with all of the posts that I miss from when I have the availability to log in when I get to work to the next time I'm back here again. You really don't realize, just how much you get accustomed to being on the Internet everyday, until you lose that ability. It's looking now, that I may not get internet to my house now until almost January....Ahhh Rats!!!!:x ~

I hope everyone is doing well! We had our first Halloween at the new home and I was thrilled because we got 3 Trick-or-Treaters...That's a big deal, because we are located about 800 - 1000 feet off of a side road and we didn't think that any kids would come to the house! So, I was so thrilled, that I gave those 3 little kids, all of the chocolate candy that was in my bowl......

Not too much else going on, just been doing some home improvement stuff, hanging blinds, making improvements to the house overall, organizing, cleaning up and such! Now, were on the road to Thanksgiving and then Christmas! Gosh, has anyone been to Lowes or Home Depot yet, it looks like Christmas is here already!!!!!

TRAVEL ALERT!

I am driving to the coast for a final visit to the cottage before our winter tenants come in at the end of this month.
A volunteer will be needed for Thursday and possibly Friday mornings.
(Not sure how much there will be to do so I'm allowing for a possible extra day.)

I started decorating, but haven't posted photos yet. I spent the entire day taking down Fall/Halloween, packing it away, and cleaning. Then, Sunday I started unpacking knick knacks & table top trees. It's amazing how much I still need to do, lol. I plan to decorate our big tree this weekend. Then, the village will be another project =]

Almost 2pm and the house is decorated inside and out. Now my wife and I get to enjoy the time before Christmas in our festive house!
