Hope she is ok and they got it all out!

I use Frontline for my guys too but just pulled a tick off Andre on Monday. From what we have heard we are going to have more of them because of the winter we have had.

I was thinking a year or 2 ago they were saying Frontline is less effective than it use to be. But they may have changed up their ingredients! I hope Andre is fine & dandy & doesn't have anymore problems! xx

Thank you, Merry.

I just spoke to Adrian, and it is out! They just returned from the vet.

It was still alive, surprisingly. Which isn't good, because they said with the Frontline we apply every month, it should have been dead. I hope they're not becoming immune to it.
I will call & get some more information from them.

She did get another Lyme's Disease vaccination while she was there, she was due in two weeks, but I told Adi I wanted her to have it today. For our peace of mind, as well.

Great news that it's out - not great that it was still alive! :-? Praying for Har! I'm sure she will be fine! xx

A friend of mine from work was saying that, too.
I heard its oral?
Do you use it?

Yes, we do use it. It is oral. No problems with it so far - knocking on wood!! She is on Heartgard & Nexgard.

And thanks for the info.
How big is it? I just hope I could get Har to eat it, she's so picky.

Gracie loves it like a treat! She gobbles it down. I give her the Nexgard in the morning with her food & the Heartgard at night with her food (or vice versa) so neither one of them upset her stomach. I'm trying to think what to compare the size too. Maybe a little bigger than a Halls cough drop (the kind individually wrapped in a bag) but it's rectangular & a little thicker. Harlowes might be smaller as it goes by their weight.

Ok, thank you. Appreciate it!

Glad Gracie takes it so well [emoji169]

Don't forget about Memorial Day is coming up soon, another day/ occasion to add to you MP3 player. A Holiday (in general) is always a good thing.

I personally look at this day as a Day of reflection and Thanks.....

I definitely include Memorial Day in the "patriotic season" (see above). In fact, I have a couple of choral CDs that feature military anthems, songs from the Civil War, etc. that I play as a remembrance. They're solemn, but a fine way to reflect.

It's sad that so many people don't even realize that Memorial Day is a day to think of those who lost their lives in military service---to them, it's ONLY a day to fire up the grill and have a picnic. At our workplace, one of our founders often sends out an e-mail than includes "In Flanders Fields" or a similar poem or quote as a reminder.

I also listen to a great audio production called "Threads of Glory" that was originally released as an LP set in 1975. It's the history of the U.S. (up to 1975) told through narration, historical quotes, music, and sound effects---really impressive. It features a couple dozen movie actors and radio actors as various historical figures. It's a great listen! (P.S. I just noticed that if you look for it on the Internet, most websites have completely WRONG information about it! So if you ever want to look for it, PM me for details instead!)

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!!! Took me a bit to get caught up this morning!! Lol! Every time I thought I was nearly caught up, another page of messages was added!

I just brought a letter out to the mailbox & WOW it is turning into a gorgeous day!!! I think my friend & I (& Gracie) are going to walk at lunch! Planning to get the tomatoes & peppers planted tonight. Hubby is in the fields today planting beans! Hopefully he doesn't have any issues out there so he can help with the garden later - he bought this material to put down over the garden to help keep weeds down. We have never tried it before, so we'll see how it works! But that is his baby to get it down & the holes cut for the plants for us! LOL! cheesy

I went to Menards last night & bought some flowers. They were a little sad looking but hopefully with some TLC they will pop right out of it! (they looked like they just needed some water)

Hope you are all having a great day!!! :)

Thanks snowflake! I'll keep you posted. Our lake neighbor uses it in his garden all the time & he said in the last 5 years he has spent maybe an hour pulling weeds! And his garden is HUGE! Like 50 tomato plants is just a start for him! We could spend an hour or more in a week! Lol!

You enjoy your Friday Eve too!

Howdy all! :hi:

I am not even going to attempt to catch up, been gone too long! =) It's been busy around here. My dad has been having some medical issues but doing well now, he was well enough for all of us to go out of town last week. We took a trip to Corpus Christi, Texas to tour the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. We had a fantastic time!

I think about you all often and miss you! Hoping all is well with everyone! If you have any big news I missed please send me a message!

Thank you for those keeping in touch even when I am not here and for your prayers for my dad!

Being a Navy Vet myself, I find that very fascinating and pretty cool!!!

Hope your dad gets well soon CAH~

My Great Uncle was on the Yorktown and was transferred to a Tin Can, two weeks before she was sunk in 1942 (Battle of Midway)....
