She's back!!! My subtle hint this morning worked. LOL!!!

I'm glad to hear your dad is doing better and that you guys had fun touring the aircraft carrier. That would be so cool to do.

We think about you often as well!! Now about these dishes....... LOL!!!

Those dishes have not been washed since I have been away??? Ewwwww!

She's been having problems on & off, and has been on antibiotics. Producing too much [bad] bacteria.
She was acting off last night, very anxious, and then this morning she had a tick on her face, embedded between her nose & eye.
We couldn't get it out, and she was pretty worked up, so Adrian took her to the vet.
They removed it, and gave her another Lyme's disease vaccine. She was due soon, anyways.
So, now we are just watching her closely, for any changes. Hope nothing was transmitted, who knows how long it was on her- but for sure wasn't on her face before bed.

Please keep Harlowe in your thoughts & prayers. I found a tick on her this morning, it is embedded between her nose & eye. It's in such a way that we can't get it ourselves. We are taking her to the vet first thing when they open. I just hope nothing has been transmitted. Poor thing was acting so stressed and anxious last night, wonder if it had been on her then. You definitely can't miss it this morning

She is on Frontline, so fingers crossed.

I just spoke to Adrian, and it is out! They just returned from the vet.

It was still alive, surprisingly. Which isn't good, because they said with the Frontline we apply every month, it should have been dead. I hope they're not becoming immune to it.
I will call & get some more information from them.

She did get another Lyme's Disease vaccination while she was there, she was due in two weeks, but I told Adi I wanted her to have it today. For our peace of mind, as well.

We're not using the Frontline anymore because it wasn't working on the fleas. Maybe this is a similar situation. I'm glad the vet appointment went well, I will keep Harlowe in my prayers. The poor baby, that's so scary.

Hope you feel better HMG! I woke up this morning feeling like a cold may be coming on not sure if it is that or allergies!

Howdy all! :hi:

I am not even going to attempt to catch up, been gone too long! =) It's been busy around here. My dad has been having some medical issues but doing well now, he was well enough for all of us to go out of town last week. We took a trip to Corpus Christi, Texas to tour the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. We had a fantastic time!

I think about you all often and miss you! Hoping all is well with everyone! If you have any big news I missed please send me a message!

It was upsetting! And she was flustered because she could feel it, probably see it too, and we just couldn't get it. I was also scared to put too much pressure on it, and release something that could potentially hurt her.

Nice evening outside here tonight folks. How is your evening?

We have been out running since we got home from work. Went and moved Victoria out of her dorm, she's all done for this school year. Then we stopped and had dinner at this local ma & pa restaurant, which was very yummy. I even had dessert, a slice of homemade (warm) cherry pie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream... Yes, the kettle is now full!!!! Then we stopped at the grocery store.

Ok, now, putting groceries away, organizing and start putting all her stuff somewhere, start her laundry and find time to go to bed at some time tonight....

I'd be upset too, if I looked down and saw one of those little booster seats, sucking my blood out.... Uggghhh, no sir. I can do a lot of bugs, spiders, snakes, bats, etc...but I do not like fleas and ticks....

I hope she is a lot happier and pray that no parasites got into her blood stream.... Rest your mind ma-ma, sounds like you guys were very much on top of things....

She said she was soooooooooooooooooo happy, to be done with this school year. However she was not happy with the B+ grade she got in International Law and Organization. I told her it was not bad at all but she said quote, "but it's not an A!"...

Ahh this weekend, well, tomorrow, I'm off work, going to spend the first part of the day, taking my grandfather to two doctors and another place to have blood work done. After that, come home in the afternoon and spend the majority of my time, working in the basement, hanging 1/2" plywood on the walls and then hanging these monster shelving units.

I decided to use the plywood instead of sheetrock, because I have made that part of the basement a giant multi purpose room, with a 18x25 storage area, a 12x15 painting area and a 15x8 tool/ hobby area for the ladies here to do crafts and have their own tools (So mine would stop disappearing from my tool belt and garage..)~
