Good evening! Just popping in quick before I turn in. My parents ended up coming over for dinner and we had a really nice time. I can't keep my eyes open much longer, didn't sleep well last night. I'll catch up with all of you tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great day. Goodnight!

A nice lazy day, I installed the other AC today since it got hot today. I ended up taking a nap in front of it. We spent all day watching NatGeo and their shows about rehashing the last 3 decades, we got addicted to it.

4 more work days until vacation, I can't wait.

We has severe storms roll through last night, and they kept us up for over three hours. And it took me two to fall asleep to begin with, so I'm going on less than two hours of sleep today. Going to be interesting. Bring on the coffee! [emoji3]

Good morning!
I just moved all of the cars around the corner again, the town still isn't finished paving our street. I really hope they show up today and finish. Not too much going on here, typical day of errands and chores. It is going to be a beautiful day, partly cloudy with a high of 82 degrees. We are currently at 73 degrees. The girls don't have to work until later this afternoon so I'm going to grill burgers for lunch and eat outside with them. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

I hope the town finishes up today. Sounds like you have a great day planned. Enjoy!!!

Thanks snowflake! Gracie had a GREAT weekend! She seems to be 100% back to her "normal" self! cheesy She's a dandy! I called the vet this morning but both the vet & the tech were in surgery, so they are supposed to call me back.
Our weekend at the lake was good. Wet. Friday we had "ponds" again at the marina. By Saturday afternoon, it was getting better. We could get around without our boots. But it rained again overnight & yesterday the ponds were back! Crazy rain! I was just happy that Gracie was crazy again!

Thank you. She seems to be good now. She sure played it up for a day or two. She'd limp over to me looking pitiful and of course I'd get on the floor and snuggle with her. But when I went to get a treat she had no problem running to the kitchen!

Good morning, friends! Happy Monday! Hope all is well!

It was a busy weekend here - I worked a good bit of overtime again, but was able to take the kids to the drive-in last night and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Looking forward to the weekend already! As I know it will be CIJ on QVC and I'm disappointed I'll be missing out on that, I'm only working three days this week, and we'll be taking the kids to the Yogi Bear campground in Hagerstown. We're all very excited! We'll have wifi and cable, so I still plan on doing some tuning in and shopping! I have to get some gifts bought! [emoji4]

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was so hot Saturday, that I found the pool needed some scrubbing. *SPLASH!* There were some pretty stubborn spots that took me most of the afternoon to clear up, but I persevered. :lol:

Yesterday I had to get up early to go to the church. It was my Sunday to cook men's breakfast. Since our normal service is at 9:30 am, we have to be done with breakfast by 8:30. It's not usually a problem, but I'm still having trouble getting back to my early morning routine after such a long vacation. I'll get there.

My brother has been cutting down some HUGE pine trees in his yard, so I helped him for a while yesterday, dragging off the sections with the tractor. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate gnats?

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday. Guess what? It's dark as night, the wind majorly picked up & it looks like rain is coming any minute ~ AGAIN! My hubby just texted & said it's pouring again on his route! Ahhhhh....

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

We were at the lake Friday & Saturday. We had mass for Dad yesterday. The reader butchered his name (LOL - whoops) & my Mom ended up leaving right after communion b/c she wasn't feeling well. We had brunch at my sisters after, but Mom didn't come. Good news is she is feeling better. She was better by last night. There is a bug going around...hopefully she just had a touch of that & no one else gets it!

Here comes the rain....
