Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
Happy Milestone Day!!!
The town finally finished paving our street, it looks beautiful. So happy that's over with. I'm heading out soon to pick up a few things at the supermarket. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I also have plans to get lunch with my youngest, she gets off of work at 1:00 today. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

It's great that they're finished with the street, and that it looks beautiful!

Guess what? It's dark to the north - just talked to a rep up there & he said they had 60 mph wind! We aren't supposed to get all that, but storms are supposed to roll through in an hour or so. Great...

It is frustrating. It let 'r loose again at lunch. POURING! Our lights flickered, it was rumbling around, crazy wind. Gracie was not impressed! I opened the basement door to feed the fish & she followed me down & crawled under the end table. I turned on the tv for her down there to drown out the noise! (spoiled girl!) She was still there when I came back to work!



BUT the sun is out now again! Crazy weather!

It is frustrating. It let 'r loose again at lunch. POURING! Our lights flickered, it was rumbling around, crazy wind. Gracie was not impressed! I opened the basement door to feed the fish & she followed me down & crawled under the end table. I turned on the tv for her down there to drown out the noise! (spoiled girl!) She was still there when I came back to work!







BUT the sun is out now again! Crazy weather!

What a cutie!!

I feel so bad for them when they are inconsolable like that [emoji173]️

Glad she found a safe place!

I always try to get her to stay down there when it's storming b/c with the tv on, you can barely hear it. (I'm sure she can, but not as much as upstairs) Usually she just follows me back upstairs though, but not today!

And guess what...round 2 is coming though! It's raining hard again!

Not up to much this week..just working away! My kids are going to my in-laws from Wed to Fri. so my hubby and I are going to go out to dinner one of those nights.

Good Morning!

Well say, now. Was it worth the wait?
(And the wait really wasn't very long since the last Milestone, was it?)

Regardless, we have arrived at the first day of the LAST THIRD of our Season count!

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164

And as usual, I'm afraid to look ahead to the next Milestone. Too scary.
The year is slipping away fast!
Let's postpone that until at least tomorrow, OK?


Not too bad weather-wise for July here yesterday. Somewhat lower heat and humidity after a rather noisy electrical storm around 5:00 AM.
Hopefully, it will be quieter today.
Right now, our temperature recording device says it is 72 degrees in our back yard.
