Snow-in-Texas, my granddaughter and I had a very Merry weekend. Started off with a visit to Hallmark in Sachse, Texas for the premiere of their Christmas ornaments and to visit Santa who is also a friend of ours and a member here at MMC, lonestar_kringle. My granddaughter was so excited to see Santa! She knows we chat with him throughout the year and thought we were there to pick him up and take him with us! :lol: As most of you all know I do collect Santa figurines but I don't collect live ones! Ha ha!
From there we went to our grandson's basketball game. After that we headed out to the year round Christmas store in Arlington, Texas. We had lunch in their tearoom that is all decked out for Christmas, it was yummy! We played Christmas music in the car all day. Nothing like cozy Christmas music on a hot July day!
lonestar_kringle is the official Santa of Neiman Marcus in Dallas and is the one who countsdown/lights up the Christmas Tree in Downtown Dallas for their annual ceremony. We have had the pleasure to attend the Tree Lighting ceremony in the past and hope to attend many more!
