Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!! Looking forward to busting out of here at noon & getting the weekend started!
We didn't get to go out in our convertible last night. Hubby didn't get home from work til after 7. So I mowed lawn & then we finally had the casserole that I made on Tuesday. LOL! We ate on the patio. Hubby went to the new brew barn & had a couple growlers filled, so we enjoyed a mug of that on the patio too.
While I was in the shower last night Gracie got ahold of a pack of blue buffalo treats!! And of course she ate them ALL! I know there were some out of that pack, but I think there were quite a few left. I have no idea where it was or how she got it! But she sure seemed to enjoy it!! I watched her like a hawk after that, but she seems fine!!! Little booger!!!

YAY Friday!!!

It's here finally, I just have to get to 4pm and then my weekend of laundry, packing for our trip and meal planning for next week (last week before Disney), changing lines on beds and overall house cleaning. Man did I just bum myself down or what?!?!!!

What is everyone up to this weekend? Snowflake22 I'm living vicariously through your trip to your lake cabin and I want you to know I'm insanely jealous!!!

My poor young co-worker (23) just opened up her checking account to realize she only got paid for 55 hours instead of 80. She's flipping out as I don't blame her. Seems like the woman in charge of our payroll didn't get her emails about her working off campus and applying those hours to her payroll. She leaves for her vacation to Yacht Week in Greece three days after I leave for Disney and she was planning on converting much of her pay to Euros since over in Greece they are not having such a good time with credit cards and what not now. I feel so bad for her but I've tried to convince her that the University will right the wrong they've done and worse case scenario they'll cut her a check for the missing 25 hrs sometime next week. To add to her frustrations she keeps calling payroll and no one is answering.

I hope this situation can get resolved for her so that she can smile again cuz right now she ain't happy.

That's so terrible! I hope they get it fixed for her quick!

Happy Friday!! We are heading to the lake this weekend. Friends of ours (3 couples) are camping at a campground not far from our trailer, so we'll be taking the pontoon to visit them. There is a "beach party" at the pond at their campground tomorrow too w/ bands. Should be fun! That's about it for the weekend. I hope you get everything done that you need too for vacation. Whew! TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Tonight is a busy one for my family. Jacob has a gig starting at 5:30 this afternoon, then Elizabeth's play opens tonight at 8:00. It'll be a tight schedule, but I think we can do both. The play is scheduled for tonight, tomorrow night, and Sunday afternoon. I can't wait!

I'm also ready to get some personal time back so I can get back to work on the Camaro!

It's going to be sunny and warm today, less humid with a high of 90 degrees. I'm going to run to Target to pick up a few things, back home afterward to work on my daily chores. Not too much planned after that, I'll probably find a nice shady spot out by the pool later this afternoon and relax.

Well, things have been resolved somewhat for my coworker. The University is sending out a payroll check for the missing 25hrs on Monday to her home and she should receive it by Wednesday. If all works according to plan she'll be able to get all her Euros before leaving for Athens on the 14th!

Great news!

After I ate, I snuck outside and sat under a tree for ten minutes with my shoes off. Wonderful! It's in the mid-80s today, but with the lower humidity and a stiff breeze---it almost felt like school vacation again. It would have been perfect if I'd had a cold glass of lemonade. Wish I could have stayed longer, instead of going back into the office.

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another hot one here with a high near 90. At least the humidity isn't ungodly. Mom is having another spell. It's not to bad but her face is drooping and she can't walk very good by herself. So not much is going to happen here today. In case no one has mentioned it yet, qvc is doing all day cij to close out the month. It looks like a lot of food shows but some decor. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!
