Thank you!
I didn't see any Halloween yet at Target, we're in full back to school mode here. Could have been there though, maybe I missed it. I noticed that my Rite Aid is starting to put Halloween candy out, along with their Fall decor. :)

Thanks Sugar, hope yours does too!

Thank you Holiday!
Sending up prayers for Gracie, I hope her appointment goes well!
xx

You're welcome! Thanks, HMG!

Well mom's in full on stroke mode today. Face drooping, right side numb, and can't really walk for more than a few steps. Neuro sent her for another ct scan this morning and we should be getting the results of it soon. It won't show anything though. So they are just going to put her on a different blood thinner that she was actually on before right after she had her first stroke. So I think that shows how well it's going to work.

Oh buddy - I'm so sorry to hear this! God Bless you guys - please keep us updated and what you find out today. Praying!!! (((Hugs)))

I think sugar loves summer, the warmth and the beach especially.

I enjoy all seasons, myself. Fall just happens to be my favorite! And it's always too short!

Fall indeed my favorite season as well, for all the activies, food, smells, etc. that ties in.

But as Snowflake says, I do love summer mainly because of the beach and the warmer weather, plus we take our kids to so many fun places. As far as the beach goes though, we go could there anytime of year, it's just not guaranteed to always be as nice and hot, so I think that's why I do enjoy summer as much as I do, but...bring on fall!!!! I'm ready for everything pumpkin, just like Snowflake!!!

Amen sista! :D I think our winter was just so long last year & I'm not ready for that again! And our summer has been so wet! We'll take what we get, but I'm going to enjoy summer...especially the more hours of daylight!!!

Well, I've got news for everyone, but our Farmers Alamanc back home here is saying a long and wet winter for most of the U.S. Eww!!!

That's what I heard, too. A white Christmas for everyone who gets snow!
Which is AWESOME!

You could try Bidnapper ... unfortunately, it requires an annual fee.
I had never heard of this! Of course, I don't shop on Ebay much; just when I need a few parts for the Camaro. They offer a free trial. I might give it a go, thanks!

I'm off to my Moms & then to take my girl to the vet for a blood pressure reading! I can't imagine them getting an accurate BP reading on here, as excited as she gets when she gets to there. LOL! I guess we'll find out!

Have a wonderful evening MMC!

Have a great evening and hope it goes well at the vet!

Good afternoon,

I am all caught up, it took nearly 2 hours, but I am back where I should be.

It is a scorcher out there today, we have the AC going keeping us nice and cool.
After the last of family left yesterday, we went and visited my grandfather, it was great to spend a few hours with him. Thursday is the 1st anniversary of my grandmother's passing, so it was important to see him. He is 93 years old, and the stories he was telling us were amazing. His job of running the Rockefeller Center elevator during the 30's and after the war in the 40's, his travelling of the world during WWII with the army, the meeting of my grandmother. We were all enthralled, especially JP. Just so fascinating to hear all he went through.
Today is a down day, my wife is at the school getting ready for the first week of school next week, she promised to take me out for ice cream for watching the boys and another one of her teacher friends kids. Fair trade. :)
I will be around most of the rest of the day.
I hope you all are enjoying your Tuesday.

That's one time I do like snow - over Christmas - it seems we never get snow at Christmas. It would be lovely to be seeing snow Christmas morning!
