Closing in, we are.
(On our next Milestone, that is.)
Days to the Season: 85
Days to Christmas Day: 127
And this Milestone we're closing in on?
Well, it's the 2/3 point to Christmas Day 2015.
And furthermore, it's only FIVE days ahead! At which point, we will be into the LAST third of our journey.
(Moving right along at a steady clip, we are!)
A nice rain fell yesterday evening, bringing down the heat.
No doubt however, it will contribute to today's humidity.
We have begun things here in central NC at 75 damp, overcast degrees.
Have a Thrilling Thursday Folks, while having an Anxiously Attentive Anticipation of Weekend Eve tomorrow!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
Mama called yesterday, wanting us to come over to help her finish off some leftovers. The kids stayed to go to youth service, but Nancy and I went, and so did a few others from our church. We had a great time, laughing about old times. Fun, fun! But today I have to do some extra work on my side business that I was supposed to do yesterday. That's alright. It was worth it.
We also watched a DVD of Elizabeth's Spring Ballet Recital. I could watch her dance all day!

Well, we thought O'Malley would have lost a few pounds now that he's eating better quality grain-free food, NOPE.
Weighing in at 27.6 lbs, with one paw raised off the scale, I present the King of all wild things.
His teeth, heart, lungs, etc. are all good, the weight the VET bothers me about every year. I don't want him to have heart problems or diabetes, but he simply isn't as active as he used to be. I have gone down 2 clothing sizes since O'Malley weighed 18 lbs, but the Vet reminded me that the instructions were for the cat. HeeHee. At least she didn't call him "Obese" that would have shattered his furry ego.
What a handsome boy!! Glad the apt went well!!
Well, 7:22pm sounds better than 1 am! Glad you got out a little earlier, but still - what a long day. Hope today is a good day & I know you are looking fwd to tomorrow!

Another one with a crazy-busy office lately!Off to another busy day at work! Glad the weekend is only a few days away, but even then I've got work for 5.5 hours on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Hate when that happens...at least it'll be a little restful and not 8.5 solid hours of craziness like this week and next week are each day.
Sounds like many of us are having busy and crazy weeks in different ways--be good to yourself and do something fun today to take some of the stress off! Stress isn't good for us! I personally will be enjoying some Christmas music today.
Christmas music is a great idea for de-stressing. I could really use some today, but I don't have much on my phone right now ... waitaminute, I have Amazon Prime, so I can stream some of their Christmas playlists. Solved!
Thank heaven I have tomorrow off. Christmas music will be involved---I'm working on my Christmas music library, plus I want to put together some radio programming. If I'm too tired for that, I will at least listen to some.

Thank you! LOTS better than 1 a.m.! I took a little nap until Mr. got home, and I was out. Slept soundly last night, but this morning I sure don't feel like I did. I put water in the electric teakettle and stared at it a full minute wondering why it wasn't beginning to heat. THEN I remembered to flip the switch on.Well, 7:22pm sounds better than 1 am! Glad you got out a little earlier, but still - what a long day. Hope today is a good day & I know you are looking fwd to tomorrow!
Today may be another long one---my supervisor was hoping Mr. could come in and help out, but he's booked elsewhere. But oh, boy, am I looking forward to tomorrow. I'm hoping it will rain so I won't be bothered by the sounds of lawn mowers and landscapers in the neighborhood.

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the mid 70's. The pollen count is going to be off the charts though. So that won't be fun. I don't have much going on today. May run to the grocery store later if there is anything good in the ads. Mom is sticking to her normal timeline and is walking by herself today with the walker. Just needs help getting up out of the recliner. Which she was having problems with before this episode to. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!
