Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

The ballet is beautiful! I've never been more proud of Elizabeth, and she absolutely shines on stage! At the risk of sounding like "one of those parents", we keep getting stopped by people who see her with us after the show, telling us how beautiful and talented she is. One of the cast members is an old professor of mine. He and his wife went on and on last night about Elizabeth. She handles the attention very graciously; better than I do LOL!

We have one more show this afternoon, then the whole family is taking her out to eat for her birthday. Another nice day on tap!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Ahh well she's not much of a bragger huh? Happy Bday to Elizabeth!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's the last weekend day before...Thanksgiving week. Insane. I have so much amazing stuff planned Thanksgiving week...it sometimes makes me feel like maybe dare I say Thanksgiving week is almost as good as Christmas week. Crazy talk? Maybe a little but...between Wednesday leaving work half day, that evening just knowing I have 4 days off in a row (rare for me during the entire year)...Thanksgiving Thursday obviously the big day...Friday well that will be a decorating Christmassy movies, music festive day...Saturday Christmas shopping at the mall...Sunday going to my uncles for a holiday type dinner...yeah it does not get much better than this. So for today with all that fun amazing stuff coming I plan on taking it easy and just realizing how exciting this all is and really concentrating this year on enjoying "the moment" more than thinking ahead.
I hope you all have a great Sunday...MMC we wait all year for this and the fun has just begun.

Good morning!
Happy Sunday!
We had a wonderful evening last night. Tony Bennett was amazing. This was our third time seeing him, he is a legend. That voice! 89 years old and still going strong, God bless him. My BIL & SIL went to dinner and the show with us. It was a late night, we ended up going out for drinks after the show. I'm feeling it today, lol. My girls were home last night to take care of Maggie so I was able to relax and enjoy myself without worrying about her being alone all night. Not too much planned for today. We're going to visit my parents this afternoon but other than that I'll be taking it easy.
I hope everyone is well and has a beautiful day ♥

Wishing you well on this snowy morning. I was putting my Christmas cards together yesterday when the snowflakes started. I awoke during the night to snowplows and our cars are covered, but the light snow is making it a bit sticky.
I did a bit of Christmas shopping yesterday and today is PJ Day with a touch of housework on the side. Watched Home Alone last night when O'Malley got tired of watching the Meerkats on TV.
Have a jolly day! :snowhappy

About to enjoy some birthday cake! :) A good way to end a wonderful day. The Peanuts movie is wonderful, and it was a beautiful day for a walk! Hope everyone has a good night!

I'm going with a gal from work. I'm surprised I've waited this long. Glad you liked it.

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 10 **

Good Morning.

Wow! Already to day TEN of Christmas Season 2015.
We're moving right along there!

So is our remaining count:
Days to Thanksgiving: 4 (Barely over HALF a week left, now!)
Days to Christmas Day: 33 (Not much over a month left!)

It was sunny but cool yesterday. Chilly here this morning but nothing compared to tonight and tomorrow night when we drop into the 20's for overnight lows.
(A taste of the coming Winter!)
We have started this morning out at 48 degrees here in our region of the MMC Nation.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
(And the question of the day: can those Panthers go 10-0??)

apparently the storm is now a blizzard due to go into Monday morning

I'm just above the top beyond Sundridge and it's no blizzard, but judging from the fence we got about 4 inches. This is when people forget how to drive. Cars are already sliding a bit. It's not too cold yet so I don't mind the snow right now, it adds some excitement for the season, but when Christmas is over, I'd like the snow to disappear. I heard people saying it was supposed to be a warmer winter than usual, but environment Canada is telling a different story. I don't like the sound of squeaky snow.
It's really only our first snowfall so far, but it might disappear and return again like it did last year.
I'll try and enjoy it for those of you who never get any. Friends of mine already built their first snowperson of the season and went sliding lastnight. The birds are going crazy.

I hope it's cold for Christmas. But really in the winter I just hope it goes up and down some...not stuck in an ice box for 2 months like the last 2 winters here. I just want normal weather that's all but nothing seems normal these days with the weather huh?
That's how ours have been, too.
Last year wasn't as bad, but the previous two were. You practically we're stuck inside for six months, because it was dangerous to be outside in the elements for longer than five minutes ;) two years ago, we had somewhere close to 50 days of frigid weather, below zero temperatures.
The weather has been really strange lately.

Thanks Crown. Can you say 10-0 on Day "10" of the Christmas season ironically?

That's what I was talking about - I'm not saying I've never slid a bit, but I've never driven off the road or into other vehicles or living things. I can handle winter driving, but I'm not fond of night driving. People don't do themselves or their pets any favours when they wear dark clothing and the dog isn't on a leash. I haven't hit anyone, but I can see where those types of accidents can happen. Lights on a car aren't enough to prevent accidents. I had a situation once where teenagers were daring each other to jump out and cross the street. It was the car ahead of me that had to slam on its brakes, thankfully I left room for a safe stop.
Oh dear, did I just rant?:bundleup
