Morning!!! What has everybody got planned for today (don't ANYBODY say taking down their tree!)? I'm working this afternoon - somebody is getting married at 3 so will have to get my behind in gear and dig out fancier clothes than jeans and a hoodie!!! Have a great day whatever you're doing :)
Nope, tree doesn't come down until the second weekend in January at the earliest here. :)

Good Morning!
Christmas Season 2015 goes on. Hope you are still enjoying it.

But get your posts in while you can, Guys. This thread shuts down promptly at 12:00 AM January 1, in preparation for the launch of "Christmas Countdown - 2016", when we start it all over again with a new year!

Looking forward to another 365 -- er -- 366 days of gleeful counting!
Oh no! Christmas is a day farther away because of 2016 being a leap year. We need to start a petition to make December 25, 48 hours long on a leap year, so we can enjoy Christmas to a greater extant. :)

Today we light a candle and play Christmas music for snowberry.

Good evening,

We had my family's Christmas celebration today, it was a good time. That is it for our Christmas parties for 2015, kind of sad that all we wait for all year is done. We do have a small get together for New Year's Eve, but the let down on New Year's day hits hard.
I was watching "The Secret Santa" this morning, what a powerful faux-documentary, it has brought me to tears a few times, and that is hard for shows to do. I am really enjoying it.
My Bengals are AFC North Champs, thanks to the Steelers loss, but they have a huge game with Denver tomorrow night.
The time has come...

Goodnight, everyone.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas morning. What a magical day! Kim and I had a splendid first Christmas together with my family. Last night, we had my brother, his wife, her father, and a few members of his side of the family came over for our Christmas (Eve) dinner! We'd never had turkey dinner and everything on Christmas Eve before, but my brother works today at 6pm, so we had to change our plans a little. Even if it was different, it was still delicious and we had a wonderful time.

Santa was quite good to Kim and I this year. I received plenty of clothes for running, a few games, and much more! Don't worry, Simon even made it out very well. He had a stocking full of goodies and toys. Of course, he also loved all the wrapping paper, too!

Thank you for yet another wonderful year, MMC! I am sorry that I have been a little more absent than I would prefer in the past week or so. I've been super busy with plenty of things. Going to Cornwall for Kim's grandfather's wake and funeral was certainly the most difficult thing I experienced all year... and the timing did not help, either. Thank you for al the well wishes and support earlier, too.

Finally, Kim and I have been keeping something secret since December 5th - when we went to Alight at Night in Morrisburg, Ontario. At the end of our adventure, I proposed. Kim said "yes," and after 9.5 years and living together for 7 of those, we are engaged and will be getting married in 2017. Until December 23rd, only her family knew. We wanted to keep it a secret and surprise my side of the family when we came to the Sault. Initially, it was suppose to be December 19th, but the funeral delayed everything until the 23rd. Either way, we are very excited! Hopefully the photo below shows up.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!

YAY!!! Congrats Brent! Exciting news!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! No PCB's here yet thankfully. It's going to be a wet couple of days here with nearly 6 inches of rain predicted between now and Monday. Maybe I should have asked Santa for a boat. Our temps are also going to be falling from 60 today down into the 30s next week. Not to much going on here today. Just going to hang around home and relax. I need to do some laundry too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!
Flooding here too! Crazy! Now it's so windy & sleet is supposed to start soon! (Which is the reason I'm awake - wind chimes going crazy)

Hey everyone! I wonder if anyone else celebrates the 12 days of Christmas? I definitely keep celebrating all the way through January 6th or however many days that is! I hope everyone has a great day and continues to enjoy the joy of the season!

Oh yeah! Tree & decs will be up until Jan.7 for sure, which is my mil's birthday! We will probably have the family here for that! Tomorrow my high school friends & spouses are coming over for supper & drinks. Today we had 30 peeps over - dads side of the family! Let the festive season continue on!

Hi Gang .. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Our Christmas was nice although it didn't "feel" like Christmas. Sorry I haven't been around much, The last few months had been chaotic to say the least ... We sold our old home in the beginning of Oct but didn't go to settlement until the end of Oct with our new home so that killed any chance of decorating for fall, halloween and Thanksgiving. We got the house unpacked and ready to go just in time to host Thanksgiving. My mom hurt herself and was admitted to the hospital Thanksgiving weekend. She spent 2 weeks in the hospital for a fracture and diabetic issues and 1 1/2 weeks in rehab. She came home 2 days before Christmas :) but she still has a long recovery. So between moving and dealing with the hospital/rehab on a daily bases that took up a lot of our time and that meant little time for shopping and decorating. The whole family agrees that we missed the much loved lead up to the holidays and add in the extremely warm temps it really didn't feel like Christmas at all.

I am going to spend the next week working on a holiday notebook/binder that will help us prepare for and stay organized for all the major holidays and kids birthdays. Going to make more of an effort to stay active in here too .. I so have missed being an active part of the group. It really is the little things that make the holidays more enjoyable.
So nice to see you minta! Hope your mom is doing better! Merry Christmas!!

I spent most of the day straightening up the house, organizing, putting gifts away, etc. Looks much better in here!
I hope everyone had a nice day. Keeping all of you in my thoughts. Prayers for everyone that has to deal with the storms, please be safe.
Goodnight!
