Ooh, the cottage pie sounds yummy. I have made something similar. Very tasty. I'm not a shrimp fan, so for once I'll pass on prancer's meal!!Cottage Pie is basically ground beef with carrots/peas/onions etc cooked separately and then layered with mashed potatoes, topped with cheese or breadcrumbs and baked in the oven. (As with all dishes there are many variations of course!)
King Prawns are what we call very large shrimp here.

I just found out I am taking my mom to the funeral home tonight to see a classmate of hers who just passed away. We are going to go right after work, so I need to get home & change clothes & head that way. I don't mind taking her at all, but I really dislike going to the funeral home! 
My sister was supposed to take her, but she has to work late. Oh ugh! (it will be fine...)

I had a busy day off today.
I did run to Goodwill and found a Christmas CD I had to pick up. They had a TON of Christmas stuff today. People must be cleaning out the stuff they didn't want anymore, I didn't find anything that I wanted in the Christmas stuff, just that one CD.
I then made a trip to Kmart, their stuff was down to 90%off, I found two ornaments for the boys that I did pick up. The Christmas leftover season seems to be just about done, I did find some good stuff this year.
I came home and started the sad process of de-Christmasing, our main tree of our Christmas celebration is now down. I started tearing up as I was taking it down, I really didn't want to take down, but it is January 20. I was able to get a lot of the indoor lights, and knick-knacky stuff down. Just one more room to go, that is the room with the 7.5 foot tree. That one is still up and lit tonight, and will be for a few more days. In the middle of that I did laundry, dishes, and made a pork roast, mashed potatoes, and stuffing for dinner.
Just hoping the winter storm decides to turn north a little to give us some New England worthy snow totals.

Happy Friday Eve Prancer!Good Morning Christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its not so cold here today no frost to scrape of the car windscreen this morning..Went to our local Tesco store this morning for milk and did i get a bargain when i was in store...Wrapping paper 4m was reduced from £2.50 to 10p..I bought 10 rolls and was skipping to the checkout lol...Also got Frozen Christmas crackers reduced from £4.50 to 50p I bought 6 packs so not a bad start to the day christmas buddies...Enjoy your day ahead christmas buddies

One of my best friends is having knee surgery today to fix a torn meniscus. I know she is very worried about it. It could be a 15 minute procedure w/ 4 small incisions, or they may get in there & realize they need to lay her knee open. Praying for the 15 minute procedure! She was my walking buddy for a long time. She has messed around with this knee for a looong time, so I'm hoping this makes her knee good as new! I miss my walking buddy!

Merry Friday Eve my Christmas Friends!! Finally got my computer fixed this morning. It was supposed to take 30 mins but took 2 hrs but at least it is done.. Not up too much tonight, my hubby is working late so I think I am going to take my kids out for pizza and then we need to get some supplies for my youngest daughter's project. She has to make a state float of Nevada. They are saying 5-10 inches of snow for us but looks like we are right on the line so who knows! Hope you are all having a blessed day!

I've never attempted one of those patterns. I couldn't see myself measuring and cutting the long lengths of yarn for weaving in. And I figured if my gauge was a little off, the woven-in lengths could up up long or short. They could be trimmed it they're too long, but if they're too short ... Frustration City! Is there any trick to making it the lengths work out right, or is it just the patience to work to gauge and measure and cut accurately?
