Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day and the last one of January already. Oh yeah every time I think all the lights around my area are off...I see another one lit up again! This morning I saw this house lit with Christmas lights. I guess that someone feels obligated every time others close off their lights to turn theirs back on. It's pretty cool though but my tree should definitely come down (finally) this weekend. It's ok though because I really think having it up the entire month of January has helped me through my least favorite month of the year. Ahh well not too bad we're in the middle of the week. I look forward to the Pines this evening.
Hope you all have a great mid-week!
I'm thinking about changing my tree in the sunroom to the winter/snow theme. Maybe that will bring us some snow. Have a great day Edge!

Good Morning MMC! I've been trying to act like I'm not sick all week but I think today I'm finally admitting defeat...

Hope you all have a good day. I'll be sitting at home on my couch trying to get a little work done. Happy Pines Day!

Oh no!!! Feel better quick!!!

Good morning!
Merry Pines Day!
My middle one is home with a sore throat. She was at the doctor yesterday, we're waiting for a call this morning to see if it's strep. Hopefully not. I don't have too much planned for today. I would like to take a ride to Target to pick up a few things. I'm also going to stop at Hallmark for a couple of cards. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry.
I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Cute pic!!!
I hope your daughter is feeling better quick & it's not strep. I threw a load of laundry in this morning before heading to work. It's a never ending job! Have a great day HMG!

I've done that before and also the opposite where I wake up on a Friday thinking it's Thursday.
It has been a really long time since that has happened to me (waking up & not knowing that it's Friday!) :p:D

Good evening,

I have pushed as far as I can go tonight, it was a rough day. Inventory was the easy part, but every one of my freezers went down today for a few hours. Trying to cover them and seal them off to preserve the cold air and watching the temps gets so stressful the longer it goes. We didn't lose anything, but that makes for a bad day. A well earned day off tomorrow, with a fun trip to the dentist in the morning.

Goodnight, everyone.
Well, the bright side is that the dentist is in the morning, so you won't have to think about it the rest of the day!

Saline spray, used three times a day, was prescribed for my cousin by her doctor-in-law. She told me about it when I was having the same issues you are having and it worked great, but took a few days.
Thanks for the advice!
I've been using a few squirts of saline spray throughout the day for a few days, without much improvement (except for a few minutes after I use it). I also took decongestant tablets yesterday, and that helped. I will stick to the saline spray today and not take the tablets again unless I feel really closed-in again. The weather is supposed to get colder and drier, so ...

Good morning, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well!

Was awake by 1 again, but that was because I had a slasher dream and I could not get back to sleep. Ugh! I hate when that happens. It wasn't a gory dream, but being chased through my old high school by not one, but two knife wielding maniacs was disturbing to say the least.
Eeek! You need a soothing warm drink before bed. (I mean decaf tea, or cocoa, not a toddy!)

Good Morning, Fans of Christmas Here, There and Everywhere!
Welcome to the thread where it all happens.
Where we count down daily to the most wonderful Season and the most glorious single day of the entire rolling year.

Let's crunch the numbers:
Days to the Season: 291
Days to Christmas Day: 333

Down to a scant 16 days now until our next Milestone, the ONE QUARTER SEASON marker.
(Hey, just think. We will then be half way to the half way point!)

Ah! Nice and warm (for January) yesterday and that pretty much did a number on the remaining ice. Today should finish it off!
Right now we have started off cloudy with 50 degrees appearing on our back door thermometer. There is a high chance of rain today and tonight, which will be good to take care of removing the road salt the city used to melt the ice.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends. See you at the final January 'Pines open house this evening.
(Carl is ready as always with thrills, chills.........and surprises!)
Thanks Crown! Warming up here too so it's melting some of this snow!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's good to be home! The older I get, the more I appreciate stability. Time was, I'd love to take off on a road trip; now I look forward to staying home with my family. Plus, I didn't get my Keurig cup and my Pop-Tart yesterday morning! The traffic was a bear on the way home, but once I got east of Macon, it was smooth sailing.

Now I'm trying to catch up here at work. I hope y'all have a great Pinesday! :D
I like being home too Brad. But it could have been worse what if it was a weekend away and you were without your Oreos???

Happy Pines MMC!! Jus work today and the gym otherwise should be a quiet day. Hope you all have a blessed day!
Have a wonderful day SnowflakeMom!

I love Mexican! Have a fabulous time!

Will do! Breakfast casseroles & quiche are always a big hit here. And they reheat so well so they don't last long. I bet the German Pancakes are super yummy!
Mexican is my all time fav!!!
The quiche recipe isn't really "quiche" more of a casserole, but it's delish!!! And you are right, they are great reheated!!
I may have shared the German Pancake recipe already, but here you go. The syrup is what makes it! YUM

"Piping hot and puffy from the oven, this golden pancake made a pretty presentation for a skier's theme breakfast I hosted. Served with my homemade buttermilk syrup, it's an eye-opening treat. That easy syrup tastes great on waffles and French toast, too. -Renae Moncur, Burley, Idaho"

Welcome back!!! Good luck getting caught up!!!

You can have some of mine. There's plenty left still despite the warmup. I heard about a big storm next week for the Midwest possibly. But we are getting a mild start to February here which is fine by me.
Send it on over!!! :D
