Hope this week is smooth sailing for everyone.
Storm Imogen is moving in. Pouring rain and strong winds out. Ah well nothing new.

Good morning!

Spent several hours at the library yesterday updating my computer. It didn't seem to do anything except check for updates so I finally gave up and went home. Opened up the computer this morning, and it said that it had to restart for updates to take effect. Things are working a bit better this morning, just in time for work.

Things have been crazy here with the packing and sorting and cleaning and hauling away. Between that and the work I get paid for I have not had much time for anything else.

Do you ever have that time in your life where you feel someone or testing your faith, strength and will to keep carrying on....

I feel that way right now.... If you can imagine what it looks like to see a 52 year old man cry, I can send you a picture....

My son who is in the Maryland air national guard, just came home and told me that his unit is being placed on active duty and will be shipped out to the Middle East this October....his name was on the list to go....

I am ex military. I know how it is and the possibility to be sent into harms way. But he is my son, and I love him so much.....

I cannot get a break...

Trust in the fact that he has been well trained and everything will take care of itself. Keep the worried dad look for after he has shipped out. Keep a positive outlook that everything will be okay.
