Well my brother went to visit him and sent me a video. He looked like himself and even barked in the video a few times. Nurse said he's on a stronger antibiotic today and that they are trying to kick out any small infection his lungs may have from the touch of pneumonia he got. If it helps him enough by tomorrow he may be able to come home. I'm not counting on it cause I don't want to get my hopes up but I'd love nothing more than to have him home for the weekend to stay in with him in the bitter cold.Poor guy, glad he will be on an antibiotic to help him heal, oxygen too.
Continued prayers for him, friend.
Hugs to you.
Harlowe did eat a few bites for Reggie this morning. So I was happy about that, although I wish she'd eat way more than that! She is losing a lot of weight.
When I got home at lunch, she was very wobbly. I encouraged her to come outside for me, and I took her around the little block, we moved very slowly. She finally did what I needed her to do, it has been 5 days, but it scared me so I called the vet. And am having it tested. (Sorry, putting this as politely as possible) I hope to hear back today, and get some answers. Although I'm also scared to hear. When I left the house, she was still trembling and for the first time this week, followed me to the door. Made me sad. Reggie should be there now, checking on her. Hope she's drinking plenty of water.
And I really hope Harlowe has a breakthrough soon. I think one day could turn it all around. I hope it comes very soon!
