Good morning christmas friends...Hope everyone is all well today...Its a frosty start to the day here Brrrrr!!...Ive been up since 5am this morning with Acid reflux..Relaxing day ahead then friends over tonite for drinks and snacks...Enjoy your day ahead christmas buddies

I used to have it every 6 months or so, and Nexium was the only thing that healed my stomach.

Some estate agents do open houses for some apartments/flats pending on the area as well for new build houses such as the estate that is being developed along the marina near here. I think it's got to fit the type of property, location etc.
However they sometimes do multiple viewings where two or three clients are booked in within a time slot to come by and view. I suppose this is quite similar.

Thank you that is good advice as always. I remember us making a list when we bought this house. At the time we were considering between two.
It's funny I woke up this morning leaning more toward Laura (realtor) than Mike (other realtor). Maybe it's a sign we lean toward the house being sold by her agency today It would make things less complicated buying and selling within the same agency. They originally sold us this house too. Anyway ....

So how is Harlowe? Has she started her new meds? Good luck and prayers being sent your way. I hope she adjusts well to them and you see improvements quickly!

When I spoke to her vet yesterday, she listened to my report on her latest symptoms, and did in fact change her mind about what medicine to start first. We began with the furosemide last night (diuretic), to help remove the fluid from her lungs. That is most likely what is causing her cough, restlessness at night, lack of energy, depression, etc. They are also symptoms of heart disease in general, but based on when she is having these episodes, leads her to believe furosemide is best to start with. She's now had two doses, and took them like a champ!
They are not too big to begin with, but the pill cutter really helps to mask them. Hopefully it's not as obvious that she's getting a pill.
I also learned that she won't always have to be on this medicine most likely, that it'll be just here and there, if fluid builds up. So the plan is to take it for 4-5 days, then if she's no longer coughing and so restless, then stop and start the Vetmedin (heart). If that does help her, she will need to stay on it for the rest of her life. It works in two ways, preventative for fluid build up, and allows the heart to pump blood more efficiently.
She seems okay so far, drinking a lot and needing to go outside every two hours. So, it's working like it's supposed to.

Harlowe is doing pretty well, thanks. We started a new medicine last night, she was up a lot because it's a diuretic, but I knew it was working so it wasn't so bad-and I knew I could sleep in today =] But Adrian eventually moved to the couch and took over halfway through the night. So, that was nice.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Here we are on the last weekend of February. This weekend seems to be a more laid back one for me. Next weekend I will most likely be busier but that's ok. The 2 following weekends I'll be off on Friday so I'll have back to back 3 day weekends! It's gonna be great but first things first...I just wanna enjoy this Saturday. When I got home yesterday I looked outside and was like wow it's so bright out still. You can just see how the days are getting longer and longer. It's an awesome feeling. I'm looking forward to a lot of stuff in the spring and summer...love both those seasons so much and yet they aren't even the BEST season of the year which begins with the bers. I hope everyone at MMC enjoys their weekend!

Good Morning, Milestone Approachers.

The daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 260
Days to Christmas Day: 302

And that second number makes it crystal clear that, as of the day after tomorrow, we will be passing through the 300-day Christmas Day Window and into the double-200's portion of our voyage back to the Christmas Season.
(Are we excited, yet?)


Chilly but calm here yesterday, conditions which facilitated the collection of storm debris from our yard. I filled 6 barrels with branches, pinecones and one rather large limb which fell onto our bird feeder, bending its support bracket at nearly a 90 degree angle. Once this was straightened and a new tree limb selected, our back yard birds (and of course, squirrels) are back to feasting again.
We have started out today cold at 32 degrees, but with lots of sun and the promise of warmer weather to come very shortly.

We are back to snow on the ground here. Rained all day Thursday, then snowed that night and off/on lake effect all day Friday.

So very happy to read that Harlowe is doing pretty well and that the diuretic is working ! It was great that Adrian tood over so that you could get some rest ~ what a sweetie he is!

Well, I had a fairly restful night. But then again I did go to bed at 6 pm. That is what happens when you get up at 1:45 am or so most mornings. Palmer was racing around the house most of the night so I imagine she is snoozing right now. Saving up all her energy for later this evening ~ the little stinker.
