Good evening,

Just a ho hum Sunday here today. The boys had an spring/Easter arts and crafts class today, so the wife and I went to the movies. We went and saw Deadpool, I saw it a few weeks ago, but she wanted to see it. I really liked it so I didn't mind to see it again.
Working tomorrow, but I have the next 2 weekends off. Much to look forward to.

Good Morning my favourite fellow Christmas lovers !
Internet will be moved to new place sometime this morning, but we do not move over there till tomorrow so thought I better pop in here quick before that happens.
I am feeling better but my son is sick now. My girls are coming over today to help with stuff. The new place is still not liveable so I think most of the day will be spent there cleaning and scrubbing the cupboards and windows and bathroom. I just cannot imagine that people can live in such filth. at least most of place is done with fresh paint, new floors, furnace and ducts clean. Movers coming tomorrow and while I had hopped to have boxes moved over it looks like that will not happen.
I am tired just thinking of everything that needs doing ! Will be so glad when this is all done.
PS...Christmas tree is going to look great in the front window !

I hope your son is better today and that the move went well!

Merry Friday everyone! I just got a call from my best friend that her dog, Kiefer passed away. He was 13 (flat coated retriever) and she said he was fine when her and husband went to bed. She said she came downstairs and he was laying on his dog bed, she thought he was sleeping but he was already gone. I felt so bad....such a terrible feeling to lose a furkid. I was just over there last week when my oldest daughter was helping her son with a project. I was sitting on the couch and Keifer jumped right up. Even though he was 13 he was so active and had so much energy. I told her we would come over tomorrow night for dinner and have a glass of wine. She hasn't told her kids yet but I know her youngest will be so sad..he is such a dog lover like his Mom. I told her it just takes time to get over it and he will always be with her.

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday! Stopping in to say hello - I may or may not have time to catch up this morning. Lots to do before noon....then I'll be off to Moms for the next 24-26 hrs. I might take her to our house for a change of scenery for awhile. We'll see!

Sorry for your friends loss, SnowflakeMom, I was talking to my step-father the other night and he told me that my dog, (who is living with him because I cannot have him at the place I rent. I had him when I was married and I got him in the divorce) is peeing all over the place. Joe is 13 on Sunday. He is starting to go blind and deaf and with this happening, it's time to have that tough discussion about sending him on. If his quality of life is going down, I feel that it's only fair to Joe to have him go before he really starts suffering even though my heart breaks over it. My daughter (who turns 14 on Wednesday) is going to handle this the worst. She doesn't handle this really well, especially when she lost her grandmother, my mom, last June. Not a decision I'm looking forward too, but I feel it's only fair to Joe to make the right one. Oy vey.

I'll add to the list of car troubles going around. The fuel pump went out on my truck so we have been using moms car. Well it started leaking antifreeze and overheating. The problem is though, her hood is jammed and I can't get it open to figure out where it's leaking and to add more. I've been trying for weeks now. My cousin is supposed to stop by this weekend and see if he can help. He works at a body shop so he's used to dealing with this.

I am sorry that your truck and your mom's car are having troubles. Praying that you can get the hood opened up so you can figure out what is going on. xx

My SIL's grandma passed away so we have to attend the wake this afternoon. My parents will be coming back to my house afterward to have dinner with us, I'm going to make lasagna tonight. We'll be watching the Islander vs Ranger game as well. That's about it.

Oh dear have i missed you all. Busy few weeks at work and starting school again made me not visit my extended family!
Hope you all are doing well and for those in need (and all those who do not need) I'll keep you in my prayers and some {{{{huggs}}}}.
Tomorrow some friends will come over for dinner so I'm making a menu and shopping list. Gado gado (and Indonesian vegetables dish with peanut saus)and triple chocolate ice cream.

Good evening MMC! I wanted to drop in tonight because I'm not sure that I will be around tomorrow. I'm supposed to be heading to my sister-in-law's to start the cleanup process at her house. But I have been coughing all day and under a blanket and sleeping. I just can't seem to stay awake! Also my gracie girl was sick all afternoon – she was throwing up almost every hour! She has me so worried! I may have to take her to the vet in the morning. I got her to take most of her medicine tonight anyway so I'm praying she has a good night and this was just a fluke! The poor sweet girl! Hate it when our babies are sick!
