Har has a grooming appointment tomorrow. I'm concerned because it's her first one since she was diagnosed. Praying she does ok, and doesn't get too distressed. Please keep her in your prayers.

If I can keep one alive, ANYONE can. It's the only houseplant I ever had that didn't die on me. (And I'm the first generation of my family not born on a farm ... It's a good thing I don't have to rely on the care and feeding of plants for my livelihood!) Laura's a mama too. I started three cuttings one year in the spring and gave them as Christmas gifts. I guess after the spring bloom is done, I'll trim her back a bit. I had to raise the pot so the branches don't pile up on the table. Trimming is easy---you can just break a branch between segments.

Well, I killed my 1st one! Hopefully I'll have better luck with this one! Or at least get some starts from it if this one starts to look bad!! xx Thanks for the advice on trimming!

Good morning!

Considering I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning, I've gotten a lot accomplished already. Work emails are done, caught up on the forums and I even listened to the series finale of Downton Abbey (*sniff* it's over, but boy, was it done right!!). Busy day ahead of me ~ lots of little store tasks need to be taken care of which take a surprising amount of time to finish.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! It's definitely feeling like spring this week so far and will continue through the week. It's a great feeling. Gonna be unreal this weekend when we spring ahead our sunset won't be till 7PM! Awesome. I love it. And the awesome part for us "BER" fanatics is knowing it won't start to go back the other way till we approach the BERS again. I had a good Monday at work as things seemed more sane than they have in...well months! But I kept myself busy so as long as I can keep a happy medium most of the time there I'd be happy with that. Been thinking about the girl I saw in Church who I went to school with...kind of wanted to message her on FB but I just don't want her to feel weird about it. I really liked talking to her and I would like to see her again "on purpose" some time lol but I'm not sure if that's stupid or not. She's one of my friends on FB for a few years now and she's in between living in TX and living here in NY. Guess she's undecided where to stay. Speaking of stay...I've overstayed my welcome here.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's another beautiful morning here in Bellville. It's supposed to be in the mid-80's all week. In March! That scares me for the summer!

Both kids are singing in a chorus presentation at school tonight, so that should be fun. I need an external hard drive at home for all these performances. My computer is full!

Merry Tuesday MMC! It is warming up and sunny! I love this weather. Just regular work today and we are pretty busy so that makes the day go by quickly. I am making chicken tortilla soup in the crockpot so dinner will be nice and easy.

I only water mine once a week, and I've only repotted it twice. From what I've read, it likes to be "pot-bound"---the roots like being in a fairly compact space. There is lots of care advice on the Web. As long as the cactus is happy, though, I just keep doing what I'm doing!

Harlowe isn't a fan of baths but she hates us touching her nails, too!

What do you do? Have the vet trim them every once in awhile?

She gets groomed every 6-7 weeks, so we usually leave them until then. We tried everything on the market to make it easier, and less scary, but I think they did the opposite.

Good morning ~
We're going to have warmer temperatures the next few days, it will be nice to open the windows and get some fresh air in here. I'm heading out soon to run a few errands. I have some more cleaning to do today as well. And I still have to figure out what I'm going to get my mother, her birthday is Saturday. I'm having a hard time coming up with gift ideas. Oh I hope all goes well for little Harlowe. Sending good thoughts.

Loki is definitely due for an appointment, he looks so scruffy. I know they'll have to give him a close shave because of the knots, he won't look the same afterwards. He's so stubborn, he won't let us brush him, so his hair gets all tangled.

Tonight, I'll be going on an overnight work trip to Toronto. So today I'm taking a day off that was owed to me, so I don't have to work and then rush to the airport later on.
