Morning, CS!good morning, gotta run...enjoy your first Monday of spring...it is snowing here !
I am relieved that you did not have to witness such a tragedy and that you are safe.Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Easter Week! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't complain cause I've had back to back 3 day weekends. Time to put in a couple of 5 day weeks before I get another long weekend in April. On Saturday evening I went to this show at a local arena and when I came out around 10PM to go back to my car (I left early to try to get to the lot to get out before many others left) I saw lots of cop cars and flashing lights. I was like wow what happened...looked like a scene out of a movie. I saw someone on a stretcher and realized a car had crashed. I got home to find out on the news that someone had hit a pedestrian who was crossing the intersection and killed them. Unbelievable. They said it happened literally within a few minutes of when I had left the arena so I almost saw it live (scary to even think about). Anyway as they say just appreciate everyday because life is crazy and we never know what will happen. Not to sound somber about it...but more just to appreciate today for what today is.
Have a great Monday everyone!
Thank you, Crown~Good Morning, All.
Here we are again. At the start of yet another week. The beginning of the next set of 7 steps, each one of which advances us forward towards Christmas Season 2016.
The count:
Days to the Season: 237
Days to Christmas Day: 279
Five -- count 'em -- FIVE more days remain until we have completed the first quarter of our march back to Christmas Day.
(Making steady progress, we are!)
Well, it was quite chilly and overcast here all day yesterday and the temperature never got out of the lower half of the 40's.
Today should see a nice improvement to the upper 50's, then a beautiful next several days with warm temps and no rain at least until Friday.
Currently, we stand at 39 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
I just checked the weather here Merry..we have snow coming after 10pm tonite most of the week.As expected, it started to snow overnight, and we're expecting 3 to 6 inches before it's over. Schools in my area are delayed 2 hours, and the radio is reporting some spinouts and crashes on major highways, so I'm staying put and working from home for now. If they need me onsite later, I'll drive in when the snow is over and the driveway is clear. Also, my elbow is hurting again, so I'm not feeling ambitious or adventurous this morning.

We have about 5 inches so far today. They say it'll all be melted by Thursday!I just checked the weather here Merry..we have snow coming after 10pm tonite most of the week.
Hi Holiday,Good morning MMC! Monday already! How'd that happen?
Yesterday was the day - 1st day of spring! I took down all my snowmen (how did I accumulate SO MANY snowmen??) & I also took down the tree in the sunroom. AND unplugged "Mikes tree" outside. It was time! The house seems so bare now! I missed the lights in the room already last night. I'm not going to mess with putting up Easter things since it's less than a week away & I'm not hosting Easter. NEXT weekend the lake is supposed to open again for the season, (April 1) IF the owner of the marina is back from Florida. xx Doesn't seem possible that it's almost lake season!!!
We finished up at my SIL's house on Friday. There is still SO MUCH STUFF there. We are hoping we don't get a cleaning fee from the peeps who inherited the house! But they can deal with it! They just got a nice house, for free! Right?!We took 3 - 24' trailers full of things home. Hauled 2 dump trunks full to the junk yard. Brought home multiple, multiple van/truck/suv's full of stuff. Hauled at least 15 van loads to goodwill, antique people took 3 van loads full of things....and there's still more! The inheritor was in a rush to get in & start remodel, so it is what it is!
Have a Magnificent Monday my MMC friends!

That's great NcGunny. I am a huge Retro fan of all sorts. I also like vintage and Kitsch. I actually went to an art exhibition with a new age retro theme once. So you're on to somethingSo I am on my "retro" Christmas kick for like a week now. My "Pic of the Day" proves it...lol. Then it dawned on me that a "Retro" Christmas depending on your age means different things. So hang in there if you follow my Pic post and I will get to the New Age Retro. (I might have just started the wording for a new trend here..lol)
Nancy woke up with the stomach flu on Christmas morning about 10 years ago. She couldn't even get out of the bed to see what Santa brought the kids. Of course, by the end of that day we all had it. Yuck!Ever been sick for Christmas? I was in 2010...although I was really sick leading up to it and got better by Xmas Eve and Day I was just a little sick.
It always amazes me to hear talk of snow during this time of year. It's supposed to be in the 80's again today. As expected, it started to snow overnight, and we're expecting 3 to 6 inches before it's over. Yes I know. Just amazing how I could have been there within a few minutes. It's sad...don't know what happened. It's a clear area where you can see pretty far down both sides of the road if anyone is coming...even when I walk in a parking lot I always feel like I'm gonna get run over cause the way people drive is not good.So tragic!
Prayers for all affected.
It's true, we have to appreciate every day.
Thanks Crown! We're marching right through March...Good Morning, All.
