It is sunny and dry out but those artic winds are icy and BITTER! Thankful it is dry out though!

I was hoping to book mum's flight last night but it turns out she may not be able to make it on the dates I chose. Shame as I found a really good bargain! Still trying to work it out and it's stressing me a little as I was hoping to have at least that checked off my list this week. So much else to do!

My eldest is better today at least, so he made it into school. Thanks for the well wishes.

Harlowe seemed fine when I got home from work. She ate dinner, walked, then played a few minutes. Then she suddenly wanted to be left alone & refused her meds. We tried 5 times. First time she missed a dose of heart meds. She stayed close most of the night. Not sure what's going on, but I'm worried.
Adi took the tick into the vet, and we got it all out. They said to just keep a close eye on her, symptoms for Lyme take about 3 weeks or longer to show. A few other illnesses could show prior, but since she's on frontline & has the vaccine, we are hopeful she'll be ok.
One thing her vet said was that some dogs can fight tick born illnesses on their own. And some need help with meds.
Praying she's back to normal today & takes her meds

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday, Milestone Day!!!! What a gorgeous morning we have going on outside - which was a big surprise. The weathermen were calling for rain today, tomorrow & Thursday but when I woke up this morning I heard the birds chirping, pulled up the weather forecast & wah lah - they took the rain out for today & tomorrow. Our garden could use some rain though...

I ran to the hardware/greenhouse last night & picked up a few flowers & several tomato/pepper plants!! I planted my 1st flower pot last night & he looks SO HAPPY!

LOVE this time of year!!!!

On that note, have a fabulous Milestone Day friends!!

Happy Pines Day!

I can't believe we are mid way through the week!!

Lots to get done today. I also need to run a couple of errands and pop to the supermarket quickly. I have no food in the house!

I also need to start thinking about which Estate agent to move to next. Ugh. Mr Festive was telling me about his colleague's experience last night. When they told their agent they wanted to leave, the agent met with them and listened to their reasons. She offered improvements and changes if they stayed. They did and their house sold within 2 weeks after that!

Just shows me that our agent didn't care as she never even asked for any feedback as to why we were leaving. Thank goodness we are moving on from them.

Okay well have a lovely Wednesday all. See you all later.

Your former agent will not be successful if she continues on with that attitude. It's definitely an industry where you have to enjoy working with people, and have a genuine concern for their needs & dreams.
Good luck with your search, referrals are key. Talk to your friends & acquaintances, and see who they've used, and if they were happy with them. I'll be thinking of you guys & sending positive vibes!

She is still sleeping, hopefully today will be even better.
We have cut her furosemide dose down to a third of what she was getting before, and she still needs to go out every two hours. And is having some accidents. I thought for sure that she would drink much less. So now of course my mind is wandering and worrying because she refused her meds the other night, she started drinking excessively about a month ago before she was back on the furosemide. We decided not to do bloodwork right away since she just had it done two months ago and everything came back clean.
I will have to put in another call to her veterinarian, and see if this is abnormal.

Happy Milestone Day, everyone! 1/3 of the way, we are entering summer. Before you know it, we will be in the Bers and fall will be closing in. But no so fast, summer break is coming up and I can't wait. I've got 17 vacation days to use before July 1 and I'm not going to lose them. I've got some serious downtime coming and I don't want to rush through it.

I could have sworn I posted yesterday! I know I typed a post, but I guess I just forgot to post it. Knowing me, I probably feel to sleep typing it or something. I hate that. I'm sure I had something profound to share.

It was inventory day again, it went smoothly but it makes for a long day. After work I had to rush to JP's Pack meeting, he has graduated from Cub Scout to Boy Scout, the ceremony was this evening and it was a nice one. I am so proud of him.
I was trying to catch up last night when I fell asleep, the laptop was on my lap and MMC was on the screen when I woke up an hour or 2 later. Tomorrow (Wed.) is my day off, and also our 14th wedding anniversary. Where has time gone?

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Back to the Pines we go! We're just going round and round these weeks so fast. The last few days of April are coming up already. Yikes. Yesterday one minute it was 9AM at work and the next it was 3:30PM. I got so busy on this one project it was like a total blur. Well back to work today and hopefully I can get some of my own work done cause there's stuff I need to do today. I also will go to the Chinese buffet tonight. Something to look forward to.

Good morning all. I'm sitting in the dentist office in a little bit of pain. My temporary crown was not set properly and my tooth is very sensitive which can cause a lot of pain. I hope they can fix this easily and quickly. Can't eat or drink without a lot of pain. #hopeful

We may plant the tomatoes & peppers yet this week or next week, pending when my hubby can get the garden tilled again. It might be a little early but the forecast looks good - no more freezing temps - though that is subject to change! The tomato I plant the most of is Beefmasters. I also plant Better Boys, (mom likes those) Mortgage Lifters, Brandywine, Mr. Stripey, SunSugars (yellow cherry), & Roma's. At home I have started from seed: SunSugars, Chocolate Cherry, San Marzano's,(Thanks to Maceka's suggestion last year) and I'm trying a new one from Gurneys called Gardner's Choice, and a type of tomato that we have no idea what it is. We call it "Harold" b/c of the man who bought the tomato plant years ago in an unmarked container, loved the tomato so much he saved the seeds & gave it to a local grower, who continues to grow these tomatoes every year. (Obviously an Heirloom tomato) - but they are shaped like a heart, they have very little seeds, & lots of thick meat. This is a HUGE one from last year...

I cut the 1st Asparagus yesterday. Guess what I'm going to have for lunch...

Mine hasn't come up yet. This is the year the first cuttings can be done so I have been searching for the shoots just about every day.

Time for bed. I can't wait to get under my duvet. I can't seem to warm up since being out today! News tonight said some parts of the UK will be colder than Siberia. Snow forecasted for tomorrow and Thursday.
