I agree. It's hard to fathom preparing 2 meals for 550 people with no running water & no electricity! EEK!

I know !!!!!!! I wouldnlt even know where and how to begin! Truly impressive. Would love to experience their celebration. Sound so heartwarming

Thankfully it's almost quitting time!!!

My hubby went to the nursery today where we have a gift certificate from our neighbors to plant a tree in memory of my Dad. The cert. is over a year old so we need to use it up. He ordered a Japanese Zelcova! They don't give those things away. Yikes!! But I'm so excited to see it! Here is a pic of one in the fall:

You all have a wonderful evening! See you tonight! I may be late....our friend is having $1 margarita's at the legion tonight in honor of Cinco de Mayo!

please pray for my friends in Fort McMurray, a northern community in Alberta.

Their home was in an area hardest hit by the fire so far and it looks like they have nothing to go home to. They and their kids are safe in an evacuation centre. This is when I wish we lived closer.

Hoping she'll bloom & grow!! I never did trim back the branches on the one that came from my brother/sil's house. She's doing so good I'm afraid too!

That's where I was, but I caught myself in a weak moment and did the evil(?) deed. She's always been a very healthy specimen---a few growth spurts (new leaves/branches) during the year, and blooming twice a year! So I hope she can withstand my amateur plant care efforts.

Oh Reaper peppers are so far beyond HOT!! I would take a bite of the chilli and have to eat a spoon of sour cream. Cant wait to try it on wings.

I could never eat those. I like a little spicy mild but anything too hot not so much!
