Sadly, I already know what the cost will be for the minimal amount of work, and it has ruined my day. I was mentally prepared for possibly one failed root canal, but not two plus a possible fracture. The physical pain to come is less important to me today than the financial pain.

We'll have to keep up with each other's cactuses. Hoping for those blooms this winter! Perhaps, along with the snowman decorations thread, we need a houseplants thread!

I did remember to take a picture of my cactus last night. I can't believe how huge it got since March...

My SIL had a couple starts from this cactus inside a glass jar w/ water - they have nice roots on them. I need to get them planted. I'm working on my house plant collection. I just transplanted several of them last week! :) I inherited 3 plants when my SIL passed away. Now to keep them alive...

Oh that is a gorgeous cactus.
I am hoping to try with a couple house plants then we move and have the room. I'll be counting on you for your horticultural wisdom :D

They would probably want to play in the dirt.

Mixed report...my brother saw him said he looked kind of out of it but was still responsive to him knew he was there. Dr. said 70% water in his lungs is down to 30% but she was concerned because he's still breathing heavy because of the water in his lungs (yet supposedly his breathing is what's making the water go down) so I guess it's a catch 22. They could put him back on a breathing tube/machine if we wanted but I think they'd rather not because it's almost like a step backwards. He's been breathing for 24 hours on his own (even though it's been a bit more heavy than normal). I don't know what to think at this point. Just hoping for the best.

Thank you! Feeling a bit better, but tired. That's probably just the antibiotic fighting the infection (and winning, because the pain has gone). Thinking about you too, and hoping that selling your house progresses well and quickly.

Believe it or not ... I have a cup of tea in front of me---in a plain white mug---that is exactly the same shade as in the picture. You may have achieved digital teleportation! (But how come my shortbread didn't come through? :D )
