I hope you have a ton of fun filling up your free Saturday!
We're not big on sports,* but we'll probably watch the Preakness Stakes later this afternoon (the second race of the Triple Crown).

*I take that back---Mr. is a big Red Sox fan.
It's been a good day thanks. Wish I could do same tomorrow. Ahh well.
I know you what you mean. We are not huge into sports but there are a few events we watch now and then. My husband used to go to football (soccer) matches every Saturday before the kids. Not so much now.

Good afternoon everyone.
Michelle and I got up early and went fishing this morning. We were pulling them in left and right. Too many to count. We had a lot of fun.
Stopped and got some chicken salad from a place called Georgia Bob's. Best chicken salad in the world. And it should be for $10/lb. The weather here is so nice. It reminds more of the Ber months than spring. It was low 70's and misty early. Now it's mid 70's mostly cloudy. High of 84 today. The grass needs mowed, so it looks like I'll have something to do besides watch softball all day.
I'll check back in later today. Be blessed!!!
Wow! What's in the $10-per-pound chicken salad that makes it special? Sounds awful good!

You're picturing a beautiful estate on the beach ... no. Gloria lives with her son and his family on a farm out in the rain forest. She likes to compare it to "Green Acres." When we're there, we take her shopping in Hilo (about half an hour's drive away) and take her out to eat---she loves Big Macs and KFC and Subway. She also loves ice cream, so we usually wind up at the DQ or Baskin-Robbins. Ever see an 80-something feeling like a teenager again? We have so much fun with her.

She was in the movies as a teenager, with Donald O'Connor (who was her crush at the time), Bing Crosby, W.C. Fields, and Mel Torme, among others. Here's an overview of her career (she introduces her own YouTube videos!):

She was such a looker. It is so wonderful that you know her and spend time with her. Hope she is doing well these days.

70s remind you of the ber months ? We barely make that in summer :D :D Weather sounds perfect for your day out. I bet it was peacefull and beautiful fishing early morning. I like the sound of that. Will you be having your catch for dinner?

I feel for chicken salad now! Hope you get to the grass and enjoy your easy Saturday watching softball.

She is doing well, thank you!
She has an iPad and sends us emails occasionally. She loves email and shopping online! She also gets fan letters by email and replies to them all.

When I was very little, we had a poodle who was crazy about peanut butter. When we had a jar that was empty (meaning there was still some peanut butter sticking to the inside), Mom would take the lid off, put it on the kitchen floor on its side, and the poodle would stick his nose in there, trying to get every last lick of peanut butter---rolling that jar from one end of the kitchen to the other! I still laugh about that.
That's awesome!
I would try that with our cats but I'm afraid the would get their head stuck in there.

Oh wow! She's great!
They sure don't make movies like that anymore. And that's too bad.
Well, it sure would be fun to take her into town.

The place we fish at makes you release everything back into the water. We just have fun catching them.

Yard is mowed. Or as they say here in the south; The grass is cut. Time to relax.
