We have had some recent Christmas where it snows on Christmas Eve just enough to whiten the ground.

paid work is done now for the work to get ready for tomorrows work bee....work is in this way to much ! But tomorrow is also big family BBQ pot luck after the work bee is done. I just made a batch of marshmallows for the evening bonfire time. Now to make a potato salad and bake and decorate a cake. Oh and make a batch of sourdough bread and a focaccia bread for our host.
Other than that I can relax and enjoy the weekend.

Thank you ... happy you enjoyed it! She certainly has looks, personality, and a wonderful voice.
I wish they would release her films on video, but they won't because few people know who she is. About all you can get is "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break," "If I Had My Way," and "Copacabana." Her starring films featured a teenage cast and lots of swing music---like M-G-M had Mickey and Judy, Universal had Gloria and Donald O'Connor.
And yes, it's great fun to take her out and spoil her for a few days! Seldom do you get a chance to treat one of your favorite movie stars to a shopping trip and lunch!

Been on the run most of the day. I had a couple of unexpected things come up. Funny how my girls still keep my on my toes even though they're grown. Just put dinner in the oven and I'm having a cup of coffee. Thinking of you all, hope everyone's having a nice day so far. It's starting to rain here, we may get more showers tomorrow as well. My husband wanted to work on the gazebo tomorrow, Sundays are his only day off. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad. I'm in for the night, looking forward to a relaxing evening. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day <3
