Hello Christmasy friends! Summer weather is about to come in full-swing with this week leading up to Memorial Day. Unfortunately I don't have Memorial Day off (or any days unless I take PTO-I work in health care!) but I am so excited for all of you who do! I hope everyone is getting ready to have some relaxing time at some point this week. Let's make it a good one!!
Nothing major here. About to make dinner and go to yoga class! Husband is on call tonight so who knows what will happen. Think uneventful thoughts!

Good morning my MMC friends!!! I haven't had a chance to catch up & I'm not sure that I will!Weekend was great - a little chilly, especially in the evenings, but still great & very little rain after Friday night. I stayed with Mom last night & really drug my feet coming in to work today! I watered her flowers & planted a Japanese maple & a pee gee hydrangea at home this morning~ SO. HARD. TO. COME. IN. TO. WORK. TODAY! My hubby is on vacation today & tomorrow & it's just gorgeous outside!!! I'm heavily leaning on the idea of taking off work tomorrow, snatching up Emma & going to the lake to clean! Tomorrow night we are going out with family in convertibles for my BIL's birthday. Doesn't that sound like a great day!

Late, late start today. Palmer woke me up a few hours after I fell asleep. Tossed and turned the rest of the night. As a result, no time to catch up ~ I hope everyone is doing well!!!
It is going to be a very warm week, so I am going to take advantage of the sun and work in the utility room. I need to make room for a storage piece. Should be fun and great exercise as I have a lot of boxes to move in and out, up and down.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
What a busy weekend we had! I got up at daylight Saturday and did the work that had to be done, then I went to Jim's shop to work on the Camaro...hey, that's work, too LOL!
Elizabeth's ballet & jazz recital was Saturday night, and she was beautiful! What a wonderful performance! After it was all over and we went out to eat, I got home at midnight.
Then last night both kids performed with their school chorus at a church in a nearby town. It was great, but it was Jacob's (and the other seniors') last performance with the group, so it was a little sad, too.
Anyway, I'm almost back to normal around here. Our IT department decided to upgrade my computer Friday afternoon, and I'm still paying for that LOL.

Merry Monday MMC!! I am so late today...computer issues this morning and I have been catching up on emails. Just work for me today and picking my daughter up from track this afternoon. I have chicken tortilla soup in the crockpot so it will be a nice and easy dinner..

Evening everyone. I hope everyone had a good weekend. We stayed busy, especially on Sunday. We went to the Junior High State Track Meet in Columbus to watch once of my wife's students. The girl we went to see throws discus and shot-put. She ended up finishing second in both events.
We then went to the Columbus Art Museum which was a lot of fun. And for dinner we went to a great German restaurant called Schimdt's. If you are ever in Columbus, you need to go to Schimdt's if you like German food. Be prepared to wait a little bit, but it is worth it! There is also a German Fudge Haus next to the restaurant.
Today marked the start of the last week of school. Tomorrow is the last "regular" day for me. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are exam days, so I just sit there and watch students take tests.
Then, Friday, we have to stay until 9pm to finish grades and clean our classrooms. BUT THEN... SUMMER BREAK!
We then went to the Columbus Art Museum which was a lot of fun. And for dinner we went to a great German restaurant called Schimdt's.
