I really hope that the neurologist will find exactly what is ailing you. In the meantime, I hope that you are able to manage the pain from the migraines and other symptoms. Have a great birthday celebration with your family!

I think I may have found the last post-Christmas sale yesterday.
Yankee Candle had their Christmas candles on sale 60% off.
I bought the Sparkling Cinnamon candle.
How many days till the Christmas season so I can start burning this thing?

All caught up ~ took quite a bit of time as I was over three days behind.
The past three days went by fast! Quite an interesting time, too. It was very hot and humid, the promised rain never happened, although it stormed in the surrounding areas, and I have been sick since Friday afternoon. Better, but exhausted today, so I am going to catch up on chores around the house and see if the stuff picked up for the store were good finds.
Speaking of the store, the sale is going all right, but the punch bowl sets still haven't sold. Keeping the sale going for at least two more weeks as June is also a slow month. If all else fails, Plan B will take effect. The mall owner said we were doing great for our size, but I hinted around again that I would like a bigger space.
A critter threw the dirt out of the pots that were going to be a part of my kitchen garden and since I found 4 kittens under the barberry bush that was nearby, I decided to scrap the idea for this year. The kittens are adorable!
All but the beans have been planted, so as of now, things are looking good garden-wise. Hopefully it will rain tonight/tomorrow as the fruit trees and berry bushes really need the rain!
Off to catch up on chores. Have a most merry day!!

Good morning guys & gals! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful memorial weekend! The weather turned out to be awesome! We had a major downpour Saturday night just as we were getting ready to eat our smoked food - but not a big deal, we just piled inside & ate.
This morning has been a little unusual. I was supposed to stay with Mom last night but her AC went out, so my sis took her to her house on Saturday night & she stayed there for the weekend. I had already told my boss I would be in late this morning since I thought I would be staying with Mom ~ I woke up today & felt like I had a cow sitting on my chest! I'm not sure if it's a cold or allergies! My co-worker said he had the same thing, all weekend. UGH! Anyway, I'm feeling better now, but I did take advantage of coming into work late. I stayed at the lake a little longer this morning & enjoyed some couch & tv time! Hard to come in after that. What a beautiful morning!
THEN I got some sad news that my Moms youngest sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer! UGH! Cancer sucks!Makes me so sad. She's such a sweet lady! Her husband died of kidney cancer probably close to 15 years ago. I hate this for their family! She see's a specialist on Thursday which also happens to be my uncle Bobs funeral. Viewing is Wednesday so I guess I'll be off work Thursday instead of today. What a week, huh?! Just reinforces that we need to cherish family, friends & health!

Honestly, I loved it.
I am shocked that I liked it since I do not like horror flicks, but I saw it was only rated PG-13 so that made me want to see it.
It has a campy factor like Gremlins, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. Just a very enjoyable movie. I will be adding it to my collection.
I even selected the closing credits song "Krampus Karol of the Bells" as my song of the day today.

My appointment went well, I really like the new neurologist. She thinks all of my symptoms are just migraine related. I'm going to start a new preventative medicine that is taken daily, hopefully it will help lessen the amount and severity of the migraines. Fingers crossed!

My wife gives me a hard time too about my Christmas movies I have saved on the DVR. I may not watch them often, but I keep them there if I need a Christmas fix.Me too. But I still have about a dozen movies on the DVR from last CIJ. Michelle gives me a hard time about that and says I need to delete them after I watch them. I said "I may want to watch them again."She just rolled her eyes.

After I saw it I went out to return it to the Redbox and decided to stop at the DVD trading store to see if they had a copy for sale. No luck today. I went to Goodwill just to kill some time and I came across what may be the "Holy Grail" of Christmas CD's. "Reader's Digest Christmas Through The Years" it is a rare CD and it sells for well over $100 on eBay. I have wanted it for a while now, and it is now mine and I only paid $1 for it. It is in great shape, just some surface scratches on the front of the case.
I watched the Penguins win in overtime of game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final tonight.
So it was a pretty good day today.
I should probably get some sleep, I work the next 6 in a row.
I am all caught up again.
