Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good evening,

It gets later and later without me realizing. I was copying CD's into my computer, and poof it is after midnight! Just never enough time in a day to get everything done. We did our grocery shopping tonight after dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. I picked up a copy of Krampus, so I am happy about that.
Yesterday (June 1) was the 5th anniversary of the tornado that came through our town. I can't believe it has already been 5 years, it still seems so fresh in my mind.

Merry Friday!! It is raining here today on and off and a bit chilly. I am just working today and I have a chiro appt at 2. I swear sitting at a desk working on a computer does a number on my neck. It gets so tight. We don't have many plans for the weekend, hopefully we can relax. Enjoy the day!

After all this talk of rain I checked our forecast. 100% chance of Thunderstorms tomorrow! Yuck! It's been beautiful all week, we have a chance to get outside on Saturday & it's going to rain all day! Great! 50% chance of storms on Sunday PM. Ah well. Jim is supposed to golf in a benefit golf outing tomorrow. Hmmmm...

Hope it's ends up being gorgeous & sunny!

Days to the Season: 163
Days to Christmas Day: 205

For they inform us most emphatically and without equivocation that we are down to a mere FIVE days until that 200-day Christmas Day Window is flung open, revealing a double-100's count landscape upon which to feast our eyes.
(And what an exciting sight that will be!)


Yet another warm one yesterday, again without the predicted rain.
Hopefully, that trend will continue today and it has commenced sunny and calm at 75 degrees here in our little sector of the great MMC Nation.

Good Friday Morning MMC! Happy National Donut Day! Not sure about your areas of the country/world but they are giving away a free donut at Dunkin Donuts if you buy a drink (I always get an iced coffee on Friday so might as well take a free donut with it). A dreary morning out here. It's supposed to be beautiful Saturday and stormy Sunday. A 50/50 weekend. Everyone ready for the weekend?

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

What a busy day I had yesterday, and today looks like it'll be another one, so I thought I'd jump in early.

Last night, Nancy and I looked over our summer calendar for vacation possibilities, and it's not looking good. There seems to be plans upon plans throughout the next few months, then school (high school for Elizabeth, and COLLEGE?!? for Jacob) starts, with all the expected and unexpected financial burdens in tow. I might not be able to visit my beloved Smoky Mountains this summer.

BUT...maybe I can find the time to open the pool this weekend!

I really miss working for one sometimes, I got adjusted a few times per week and always felt amazing. On that note, I should make an appointment too!
