I love counting down. In fact where I work, there are many people who are so use to me knowing how far it is away, that they will stop and ask... "Chris, how long till Christmas?" Of course keeping it in my heart all year long certainly helps. Already thinking about the outside decorations and will be going through the interior decorations at the end of August. It makes it a lot easier for me to get it squared away (hey, I'm retired military) quickly.
As an added bonus, it lets the child come out a little earlier.-lights-
Love it! Merry Christmas in July!

Thanks and a nice quote from President Coolidge. Maybe we should start a forum on best loved Christmas quotes... here is one of my favorites...

It was very sad & tragic! What a horrible time for those families & friends.
Sounds like you had a nice weekend. We were outdoors almost all weekend - more than most weekends. What's wrong with us? Ha ha!
Hey- I thought of you over the weekend. The restaurant at the lake we ride our bikes too a lot - they have a new Shandy on draft - Illusive Traveler, Grapefruit Shandy! Reminds me of Leinie's Grapefruit, but not as strong of a grapefruit flavor. Quite tasty!
:D
Continued prayers for them, friend.

Illusive Traveler sounds really refreshing!! I'll have to check it out, thanks =]

I'm thinking you will like it! :D

Thanks, Holiday! You, too!!
Have a fun and merry night!! :)
Thanks! You do the same! I'm staying at work a little late today since the boss had running to do & I came in later this morning since I stayed with mom last night. I'm ready to scoot on out of here though... LOL
Enjoy your evening!

Thank you!!
Hope you have beautiful weather, and can enjoy the outdoors tonight!

We've finally lost some of the humidity and heat!

I never really cared for the ebooks. I like a old fashioned musty smelling book in my hands.
I like 'em both. We have LOTS of real books---both of us are bookworms. (When we got married, it was interesting to see which books both of us had BEFORE we were married. And once, we got each other the SAME out-of-print book for each other's birthday. We kept both copies!) But I also love my Kindle for the convenience of having dozens of books in one convenient device. (Even though the digital books are often riddled with formatting errors and typos. Jeez, doesn't anybody check those digital files after they're rendered and before they're released? Obviously not!)

P.S. If you ever get to Frederick, Maryland, check out Wonder Book and Video---literally hundreds of thousands of used books to browse through. Whenever we visit Frederick, we have to ship home a boxful of books!

I think texting has been one of the best and worst inventions. The Good: It's so convenient you can contact anyone at any time anywhere when calling may be difficult or impossible. The Bad: People use it constantly and don't know how to communicate like human beings anymore.
It took me a long time to get into texting. I like the convenience. My one pet peeve: getting a text from work on my day off. I say it can wait until I go in.

Evening all! I hope you're all having a great night. Working my last midnight shift, then sleep and normalcy!
So happy for you that you will finally have your normal work hours back.

Good evening,

It was a nice and easy absolutely lazy day here, nothing really happened except me making an imprint on the couch. I listened to Music Choice Christmas In July for a few hours, just love that.

I hope you all had a great day.
Goodnight, everyone
Love that kind of lazy day.

4 days to go until vacation time. I fear the next few days will be busy and will just fly by. My goal: to not have to work from 7am to 10pm on Friday to get everything done.

Hope you all had a great Monday and are enjoying a nice evening.
