Good evening,

Day #7 in a row of 90*f temps outside, one more tomorrow and then relief. We are supposed to get actual drenching rain on Friday, with temps in the 70's. Ahhhhhhhhh!
Yesterday the inventory turned into a major cluster fluff, I didn't get home until 130am this morning. New way of doing things always has hiccups, I guess. I got home, had to wind down before bed, so it was 3 when I finally got to sleep. Woke up late, took a nap, went to Friendly's for dinner.
We did start our Christmas shopping yesterday, we completed the first steps of purchasing season tickets to the New England Black Wolves, it is a present for the boys along with a Black Wolves jersey for each of them. I can't wait to put up the tree!

Good morning everyone!
I know I've been away for a few days (maybe several ), but I've missed you all. Things are crazy at work and even crazier outside of work. I've been organizing a 3000 men event that will be held Aug 12-13. My part of the event is promotion and registration/ticket sales. And then on Aug 16 I'm having shoulder surgery (rotator). So I'll be out of "service" for a little while. But after the surgery, I should be here during the recovery.

Morning all!! Got a house full of sick kids again, and of course I caught it. Just in time for my trip to S.C. next week...arghh!! Pic of the Day is posted already.

Hope the whole family feels better soon. Hopefully this will be a quick bug and everyone will be in good spirits for travelling next week.

Merry Pines Day!
Today is my 48th birthday, can't believe I'm almost 50. Time has to slow down! Not too much going on, my oldest has to work tonight so we're going to wait until tomorrow night to go out for dinner to celebrate. I want all of my girls with me. I'll be going out for lunch later with my parents. Not too much else going on. I just got dinner started in the slow cooker, I'm making pulled pork. I just need to pick up fresh rolls to make sandwiches. I think I'll make coleslaw and corn on the cob to go with it. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Happy belated birthday HMG! I didn't check in yesterday and missed the big event...Have a fabulous time tonight celebrating with your family.

Sorry to hear about inventory not going so well. The one day of the year that I dread the most at work, because so many things can go wrong and prolong the agony. This past January, our inventory supplies got stuck at Canadian borders. Two days of making anxious phone calls left and right to get the supplies authorized through customs. Then, I let other members of my team check the equipment (I figured they're "techies" so no problem) and on the morning of inventory when I set up the computer, I realized we did not have the right printer cable. From now on I will check supplies myself.

Awesome Christmas presents for your two boys, I'm sure they'll be really surprised and love it.

So I've been up since about 3am, first to let Loki out of the bedroom to have some water (he was hot on the bed poor little guy) and then to do some work because my mind couldn't settle and I couldn't fall back asleep. 2 days left until my vacation but still so much left to do...Have a great Thursday everyone!
