Sounds like great plans snowflake22, enjoy! We started watching Stranger Things this week, very intriguing and I love all of the 80s references.

Have a great one Edge! And have fun with Rollins tomorrow. Hope he is doing a lot better already.

Me too! It's excellent and so many ways! The story line is fascinating, the characters are ones that you relate to/care about, and the 80's nostalgia is amazing.

Wishing everyone a nice Friday evening and a fabulous weekend!

This morning we drove to Quebec City and took Loki for a 2-hour walk along the shore. Poor little thing is pooped now. Even at 10am it was painfully hot and humid, thank goodness we had a breeze haflway through.

Now we're cuddled up on the bed watching the Olympics opening ceremonies with the AC on. Hoping this humidity breaks tomorrow so we can enjoy more time outside.
Sounds like you guys had a lovely day!
Fingers crossed that you get relief from the humidity soon~
Enjoy the Olympics!
Hugs to you & Loki ❤️

New kitties! So beautiful! Look at those little faces!
I hope Alex and your furkids forgive you soon.
"Stella" is "stars" or "starlight"; Luna is "moon" or "moonlight"---what is the meaning of "Tuukka"?
Tuukka is the first name of the Boston Bruins goaltender, Tuukka Rask. I have wanted to name a kitten Tuukka for a few years, I thought it was just a great cat name.
The other 2 kittens were named that exactly for being part of space, or celestial bodies, until we realized they most likely are boys.
Alex is really hurt/depressed right now, I made sure to have some me and him time tonight and he was very happy about that, he is sleeping by my feet at the moment.

I went to camp when I was a teenager several times. It's fun or it was back then.

Sounds like it could be fun, does it depend on the coach? I would think one run by Rex Ryan would be more fun than one run by, say Rich Kotite.

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, My Many Merry-Making Major Milestone Markers.

And Holy Cow, Guys!
The ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW IS OPEN and the view outside of a double-digit Season count is breathtaking!

Days to the Season: 100
Days to Christmas Day: 142

(How can we have come so far so fast?? This is dizzying. I need to catch my breath!)

Cooler again yesterday. (Not really cool, just not as hot and humid as it has been in recent days.) Hope that continues for a while!
Our current temperature is 75 degrees here in central NC after an overnight rain.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And enjoy your Milestone Day to the absolute fullest!

Happy 100 Days!!!

On this landmark day in the Christmas calendar let us pause to ask, "Why are Santa appearances during the Summer in long sleeve, fur trimmed, red outfits?"
Because we don't want to see him in a speedo. :p:D

Back from visiting the Wally World on a Friday. It honestly looked like a tornado touched down in Back to School. It never ceases to amaze me at peoples carefree attitude when it comes to making a mess. They forget some WAY underpaid soul has to clean up up behind em.
Courtesy and manners are a dying art form.

Good evening,

It is late, but I am on vacation!!! It is my second and final vacation of the summer, no real plans just relaxing with our miniature petting zoo.
We will probably get the little ones their shots and deworming at the Petco clinic tomorrow, they are acclimating well to the house, they will not leave the room we are in, and constantly want to be around us.
I forgot to let you all know I had another great find at Goodwill earlier this week, I found a Possible Dreams Santa in almost perfect shape for $4.00. I was so happy finding it. I have had tremendous luck there this year.
I won A Christmas Story blu ray on eBay, the other day, I have to upgrade for the new TV, which is on the fritz right now. Samsung is coming out to repair it in the next few days.
My vacation for Christmas week has been approved, that made my day today, even more so than going on vacation today.

Lots of stuff to share tonight, finally had the time to do it.

Goodnight, everyone

When I saw this name, that's the first place my thoughts went to!

Interesting side note, we don't like the clinking of glasses to have the married couple kiss, so at our reception, we are going to have a bowl full of NHL names and if someone wants us to kiss, they have to CORRECTLY pronounce the name (if I cannot pronounce it, the name isn't in the bowl), if they don't, we pick who they kiss.

Dustin Byfuglien

It took me a long time to figure out how to pronounce his name.

That is a creative way to do the kissing thing for your wedding.

That is one of the names on the list!! Guy Herbert, Patrick Roy, J-S Giguire, Keith Tkachuk amongst others. We have some common ones too like Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, etc. It's going to be fun.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! First weekend of August! Yeah we're powering towards those Bers now aren't we? Today I'm going to go see Rollins and do some errands. Really this weekend I'm revolving more around him because well for 1 I'm excited about him and also hoping he's getting better soon. And for 2 I have off next week Thursday and Friday which for me is basically a vacation so I have plenty of time to do things next week(end) if I don't get a lot done this weekend. Gonna go heat up my french toast...not such a bad start to a Saturday MMC & French Toast. A winning combination!
Have a great Saturday MMC! We're getting so close now to our time of year it just doesn't seem possible to me!
