At least you had Boomer and got to a SB. Should have beat the 49ers. I liked Boomer when he came to the Jets even though he was kind of on the downside. Always thought he was a solid QB.
He was my favorite Bengal for a long time. Super Bowl XXIII was a heartbreaker, 34 seconds remaining in the game and Montana to Taylor to win it. Still painful to watch the highlights.

Good evening everyone. We just returned home from the Browns scrimmage in Columbus. It was a lot of fun. Outside of the stadium they had a lot thing going on. We got to take a picture with their big bulldog mascot, Swagger. They had "bouncy" slides, and playhouses for kids, face painting, former Browns players and a lot more.
We sat in the front row next to the field close to the end zone. We took lots of pictures and some of the players who were injured slightly, were exercising right in front of us which was cool. The scrimmage was fun to watch. Then, when the scrimmage was finished, most of the players went around signing autographs. This was the first year I was able to get any autographs (it can be ruthless) but where I was standing was perfect and I was able to get about 15 players to sign an old Browns hat!
The great thing is, the whole thing was FREE!!! All of the entertainment, before the scrimmage, everything. Well, except food, the food and drinks were normal stadium priced food.
The weather was great. It was hot, but a decent breeze now and then.
I hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Note: Preseason NFL starts tomorrow night with the Hall of Fame Game: Green Bay vs. Indianapolis!!! I love football season!!

Sounds like a great time

That's an example of how a few plays or a matter of seconds can change a player's career (or the perception of one). Imagine if the Bengals held on. How different fans today would look at Boomer.

Good evening,

Just a lazy day here after taking the kittens for their first vet visit, they are healthy and all three are male.
Nothing much planned for tomorrow, just some relaxing and mowing the lawn.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone

Probably a hall of famer.

Turtle doesn't know what to think of the kittens, he won't even come near them yet. He stands a few feet away and barks if they start acting crazy.
Turtle and Alex are best buds, they have a mutual respect for each other and Alex goes up to him and nuzzle him often.
That's super sweet, love it.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! A week into August now and hopefully a relaxing Sunday ahead. That's my plan at least. I am going to go visit Rollins again and check on him. It's fun to visit him which makes me wonder how fun it would be to have him home. I guess soon enough hopefully I will find that out. Other than that gonna go make my waffles now and do my exercising this morning.
Have a great Sunday my friends!
