Good Morning MMC!
How's everybody's week going so far?
I'm sitting here at my desk trying to get my mind mentally ready for yet another Wednesday morning meeting where I'll have very little input do to most of it is from a clinical aspect and I'm more administrative. However, I'm required to attend and every once and a while I do chime in with a few things to add. I will say I'm glad it's in the am instead of somewhere in the middle of the day where you have to stop what you're doing to attend.
Aside from that everything is peachy! The girls and I are having a blast keeping tabs on TEAM USA with the Olympics even with the tape delay. It's extremely upsetting after avoiding all the major traps of the internet as not to have all the day events spoiled for me to be on the train home and over hear someone spill the beans. Grrrrr!!!! Now I know to wear my earbuds when I leave the office, I'll listen to some Christmas music so that should help.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!!!

So sorry to hear that Harlowe had another bad night. Is she having trouble with the high humidity? Hope things improve and that you can get more sleep in. Stay cool in this heat. Hugs to both of you.
So the spa yesterday was a really nice experience. The massage was very relaxing (hubby even fell asleep next to me lol). And the steam rooms and cool baths were great (especially the cool baths). First time at a spa, it won't be the last.

I used to work weekends and hated when patients would ruin the football games I was recording before I got home! Keeping those earbuds in is a solid plan!
Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow is my last day of work before a weeks vacation with the family. When I return it will be time to get serious about my eating and exercise routines again. Discipline and all of that! It's so humid here already my windows were steamed up when I woke up. I was almost scared to leave the house and head to work. I hope all of my friends on here have a wonderful day!

Good Morning, Center-of-the-Week Season Seekers and Milestone Awaiters.
Well, the wait is nearly over for the next one, the 3/4 marker to Christmas Season 2016, now just FOUR days away, after which we will be in the FINAL quarter of our journey, impossible though that may be to believe!
Days to the Season: 95
Days to Christmas Day: 137
Pretty warm and humid again yesterday, with no rain this time. Drier but warmer weather is predicted for the balance of this week.
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 76 degrees here in our portion of the MMC Nation.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday Folks, and a Vivacious Visit with Carl and Crew at the Shispering Pines this evening, where the food is great, the iced tea is sweet and the entertainment is.......well...... always unusual and interesting, thanks to our friendly activities director.
Now, Stay tuned for a ** TRAVEL ALERT **!

The Crowns are off on our annual family reunion visit to the other Carolina (SC) this coming weekend and a substitute volunteer counter will be needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The person who steps forward will be faced with an awesome responsibility -- ushering in our next Milestone on Sunday morning, the THREE QUARTERS SEASON MARKER!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! It's my Friday and my shortest week since New Years. I've had a lot of 4 day weeks this year but none less than that. With my days off I really want to relax some and have to see how the whole Rollins situation plays out the next few days. Other than that I am trying to finish up some stuff at work today. Hope you all are well and having a great mid-week! See you at the Pines.

We had a GREAT time! It was a beautiful convertible ride, Louisville was fun, wedding was nice + 2 days off at the lake after...can't believe how fast those 6 days went! Now it's back to reality!
I probably won't be able to get all caught up here, but I'll do my best!

Welcome back! They told me last weekend his Xray they took said he had a little congestion but not pneumonia. They changed his prescription and the vet comes in Thu/Fri to give him another checkup to see if he's better to go home.
