Just visited him now actually. He seemed great. Was listening to hear any congestion and didn't. I told my brother though I can't go there anymore and leave him. This is the last time. Next time we go there (Tuesday hopefully) we're bringing him home! The good thing is that we've seen him now 6 times over the last 2 weeks so he knows us...so when we do take him home at least he won't feel like total strangers are taking him. It might work out for the best in the end.It is such great news to hear that Rollins is doing well and his congestion has cleared up. Do you plan to go see him before Tuesday? The wait must be tough at times but well worth it.
I appreciate it! Ironically, Tuesday is my brother's birthday. And also...when we got Nitro in 2005 it was in August as well.Glad they are being so careful about his health before he leaves there.
Great news there's no congestion! Continued prayers for him!!
The good thing is the people taking care of him are making sure he healthy enough to go home with you. It will be like Christmas in August for you on Tuesday. Finally got the call today...bad news/good news mixed (mostly GOOD news). Rollins they don't want us to bring home today but the Dr. did the follow-up and said he seems fine now. No congestion. But they have a few more days of medication they want him to finish and a quick final evaluation on Monday. As long as everything is ok we can pick him up finally on Tuesday! I'll be leaving work early...which ironically I was supposed to leave early for a dentist appointment but that's being cancelled as we speak! 3 more days!!!
The A/C's have been running since 7:30am to get and get this place cool. Turning the oven on to cook will make it warm no matter what.I sure hope you have AC where you are, especially with all of the cooking you guys are doing. Such a neat idea to make the traditional Thanksgiving meal another time in the year. That food is so good, why eat it only once a year? Enjoy it!
I hope Har is doing better now. Thanks, Martine!
Good afternoon
Harlowe ate something while we were outside, probably a bug of some sort. I tried to get it out of her mouth, but no go. She was shaking & upset, licking her mouth frantically. Not sure if it bit her or what. It wasn't a bee, because it was on the ground in garage & I think I would have noticed that. Hopefully not a tick. I can't see anything in there, hopefully she'll calm down soon. Always something. Poor thing.
Mom messaged me & found some Halloween Peanuts signs, can't wait to see them in person.
Hope you & Loki are enjoying your day!
Speaking of...how was your pre-Thanksgiving???The good thing is the people taking care of him are making sure he healthy enough to go home with you. It will be like Christmas in August for you on Tuesday.

I made potato and a mac salad at 4:00 am and just ordered subs. I didnt want to take the chance of heating up the house myself. The A/C's have been running since 7:30am to get and get this place cool. Turning the oven on to cook will make it warm no matter what.
