Merry Saturday! I don't think we are going to the beach today...it is overcast and way too humid for me...lol I plan on catching up on laundry and just relaxing. My oldest daughter may have a pick up soccer game so we will take her to that otherwise a quiet day! Have a great Saturday!

Good Morning everyone, Hope all is well for y'all. JUst relaxing and waiting on the Directv guy to hook up service at the new house. Decided to watch Weather channel live on the computer, and they did a thing in vale Colorado for a Kids Adventure thing and said the temps right now is 30 F. Man call me jealous it is suppose to be just shy of the 90's today. Think it is the first day under 90 since end of June.

Well, spent a few hours in the office...the wind started blowing....the coffee was still hot....so what better to do than sit on the deck and enjoy the breeze?

Rain moving in...not gonna complain. It will keep me in the house and help me be lazy. Think I might look for some Christmas stuff today. Heck, I might try to talk Doc into going to Hobby Lobby and checking out the Christmas gear!

It is so hot and humid here, we might as well be in the devil's armpit. The temp says 89f but the real feel is saying 108f. Just downright nasty, and the temp is still going up.
Resting for the moment, already made the cranberry sauce, my mother-in law made the turkey, so we will be making the rest in a little bit.

Good morning everyone. Day four is down on this work week, which leaves me just 3 years, 7 months and 15 days to go. How time flies when you are living the dream... lol
Sorry to hear the beach is out for today, but on the lighter side at least you do not have to plan a vacation to see it. South Dakota is a long way away from my teen years on Zuma and Malibu beaches. Christmas CDs are now in the car and getting me pumped for those countdown days ahead.
Enjoy your weekend and don't forget the BBQ.

It is so hot and humid here, we might as well be in the devil's armpit. The temp says 89f but the real feel is saying 108f. Just downright nasty, and the temp is still going up.
Resting for the moment, already made the cranberry sauce, my mother-in law made the turkey, so we will be making the rest in a little bit.

It better be about 30-40 degrees cooler on the real Thanksgiving!!!

Hi everyone.... Ok I kow Snow Miser needs to have a chat with his brother Miser. Its way too HOT and HUMID. So over summer. I want the nice cool crisp air of fall!

We went picking peaches this morning, got over 70 lbs. Plan on using 50 lbs to make and can peach jam and diced peaches tomorrow. I have been working on a freezer meal plan, I want to make and freeze at least 6 meals during Labor Day weekend and then do it again in the beginning of Oct. With the exception of an outing already planned in Sept we are planning on Sept being a no eat out or order out month.

Well gotta get ready, we heading out to a cook out in bit. Not sure how long we will stay considering how hot it is.

Finally got the call today...bad news/good news mixed (mostly GOOD news). Rollins they don't want us to bring home today but the Dr. did the follow-up and said he seems fine now. No congestion. But they have a few more days of medication they want him to finish and a quick final evaluation on Monday. As long as everything is ok we can pick him up finally on Tuesday! I'll be leaving work early...which ironically I was supposed to leave early for a dentist appointment but that's being cancelled as we speak! 3 more days!!!

I sure hope you have AC where you are, especially with all of the cooking you guys are doing. Such a neat idea to make the traditional Thanksgiving meal another time in the year. That food is so good, why eat it only once a year? Enjoy it!

Peaches are a real treat in the Summertime. Never made peach jam but it must taste soooo good. Sounds like you have a lot of cooking ahead of you. Hope you have a great time at the cook out despite the heat.

It is such great news to hear that Rollins is doing well and his congestion has cleared up. Do you plan to go see him before Tuesday? The wait must be tough at times but well worth it.

Harlowe ate something while we were outside, probably a bug of some sort. I tried to get it out of her mouth, but no go. She was shaking & upset, licking her mouth frantically. Not sure if it bit her or what. It wasn't a bee, because it was on the ground in garage & I think I would have noticed that. Hopefully not a tick. I can't see anything in there, hopefully she'll calm down soon. Always something. Poor thing.
Mom messaged me & found some Halloween Peanuts signs, can't wait to see them in person.

Another rainy day here but at least it has broken the streak of hot and humid days. But I'm not ready for Fall yet. Went out early this morning to Ikea and found a rug for the living room. Nice and shaggy too. Hope everyone enjoys a nice Saturday!
