I worked till dark again yesterday, and I'll have to do that again today. I should be able to finish this customer's order tomorrow, so I can enjoy the approaching 'Bers!

Happy Friday!
I just tidied up the house, started laundry and threw beef stew together in the crock pot for dinner. I need to head out as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. My husband told me we have to attend an engagement party tomorrow for one of his employees, he forgot to tell me I need to run to the mall for a new outfit and a gift.
I hope everyone is well, has a nice day and a great weekend ahead <3

Yes, the heat began creeping back yesterday. It wasn't too bad, but today will be a very different story. The weather service says we could possibly see a heat index figure of 103 by this afternoon.

Right now, we have commenced this Weekend Eve day at 77 degrees here in the state capital.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!!! Woo Hoo!

Last night I made @snowflake22 's Wisconsin Beer Cheese soup & it was delicious!!! Leftovers will not be an issue to get rid of! I was pleasantly surprised about the popcorn as a garnish. It was very good! I made 2 stir crazy poppers of popcorn & my hubby used the rest to make sugar corn! That was delish too. I told him he couldn't eat much popcorn b/c it's for this weekend at the lake! (Guess what he had for breakfast this morning...HA)

I used popcorn, green onion & a very little bit of crumbled bacon. Mmmm, Mmmmm! I even re-loaded my bowl with popcorn I liked it so much!

I'm glad to hear you had a great time last night. Sounds like you are in an awesome neighborhood. Those bonfire neighbors are the best kind of neighbors to have! Thankfully that's the kind of neighborhood(s) (home & lake) we are in too! So fun!
So hard to believe it's the last weekend of August. Bittersweet! It's supposed to be 89 & 88º over the weekend, so summer is still upon us too! (I'll take it )

I agree!! They were a hoot!
One of the guys who hosted grew up about 10 miles away from my hometown, so it was fun to chat about that. He said they get calls about bonfires just about every weekend, and they're always game =)
