Just finished having morning coffee/tea with mum. This is always the hardest bit. Starting off as any other day and then remembering she leaves shortly.
She has two flights ahead and a long transit. We'll be setting off for airport soon. catch you all later. Eeek trying not to get emotional.

It is Merry Monday here in Merry Forums. Well, at least for those of us who have the day off...
I am going to do a big push to get through all the extra Christmas decorations that are in my garage and get them ready to distribute.
I hope everyone is doing well. August is just about in the history books. Time for that serious countdown. Of course when it becomes a two-digit midget, I really get excited

Good evening,

Watching the Bengals preseason game tonight, they lead, but no stress watching it since it doesn't count.
Our day was a lot busier than anticipated, Old Navy was having a sale on jeans, JP needed some and we hit the jackpot, 3 pairs for less than a total of $25.
Did more shopping and caught a late lunch/early dinner.
I am tired, and ready for bed.
Kids head back to school tomorrow.

Twas the night before school started
when all through the town
the parents were cheering
it was a riotous sound.

By eight the kids were washed
and tucked into bed
when memories of homework
filled them with dread.

New pencils, new folders, new notebooks too,
new teachers, new friends, the anxiety grew.
The parents just giggled when they heard of this fright
and shouted upstairs-GO TO BED-IT'S A SCHOOL NIGHT!
