How is your calendar looking? We are already in the final week of September. That means we are less than a month away from the beginning of the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year - The Christmas Blossoms Thread! I am almost certain the Christmas has already starting "budding," as coined by Crown, in your area.

Although I have not been extremely busy this past month, I have needed some downtime. To be honest, I was completely drained from teaching summer school. I'm back now. I'm all good. I'm excited to countdown with you all the rest of the way. And, what better way to celebrate the countdown than to contribute with images of Christmas budding in Canada's Capital?

Please forgive the blurriness in the Costco photos. Kim and I were delighted to see this gorgeous fake tree and real lights in Costco about two weeks ago!:

Who doesn't need cyramic trees?:

Lights. Be sure to setup your Christmas lights nice and early. Avoid the cold:

Happy Sunday, Brent!
Hope you're doing well, friend~
Awesome and festive pictures! Love them!

I sat in front of this and stared at it for a good two minutes. Thankfully, there is a bench right across the aisle from it. Perfect spot:

I spotted this at Chapter/Indigo (Barnes & Nobel):

That's the Christmas tree we bought last year. Our previous one was much too wide for our space. We donated it to the residence where my husband works, for when they decorate during the Holidays.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is enjoying a nice Sunday evening. I worked all weekend and I am exhausted. It's not even our busy season yet and there's tons of people in the store! Saturday night was our work Summer party, we went to a casual restaurant and drew prizes for our employees. It was nice but it made it a looooooong day. Still very hot and humid here, hard to believe it's already the end of August. When reading your posts about the Bers, I kept racking my brains, trying to figure out what it meant. About a month ago, I saw the word SeptemBER and it finally clicked. Right around the corner...

Always great to see you back! The Bers are coming Brent! Our time of year is just about to begin...awesome feeling isn't it?

It's fantastic. Trees have been changing here for a couple weeks. I mean, we're talking about about a 10% change in foliage, but it's a start!

That's great you donated your old tree. As for your new tree, you picked a good one!

I have a Barnes and Noble gift card---now I'm thinking about getting that coloring book and a set of markers or pencils!

That's a great idea! I'm sure it will bring in some Seasonal feelings, too.
