Wow, there needs to be a "Love!" button.
I thought of you yesterday when I saw it.

Have a great school year!Hello all! It has been a busy week with school starting back. It was a good start back to school, no major issues. Just the normal minor irritations you find every year.
Friday night football games around the area were all delayed at about half time due to a huge line of storms which came through. The games were finished on Saturday morning. Covington, my school, won the season opener. We have a new coach this year and were playing a team that is always tough and beats us often. We are on a streak of 11 straight playoff seasons. No pressure for the new coach.![]()
Nathan, my oldest, had his first Cross Country meet on Saturday as well. He did not run since he got a late start, but it was good for him to go and see the process for the events. He may get to run next weekend.
I just finished getting lesson plans ready for the week. I still need to do some grading today, but that is easy grading.
Things will get back to a normal routine now that we are through the first week!
Awesome finds, Brent!Houses that can be painted (I think) to your desire:

Awesome finds, Brent!
I know you love the Blossoms. I always look forward to seeing your finds! Have a good Sunday.
Always great to see you back! The Bers are coming Brent! Our time of year is just about to begin...awesome feeling isn't it?How is your calendar looking? We are already in the final week of September. That means we are less than a month away from the beginning of the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year - The Christmas Blossoms Thread! I am almost certain the Christmas has already starting "budding," as coined by Crown, in your area.
Although I have not been extremely busy this past month, I have needed some downtime. To be honest, I was completely drained from teaching summer school. I'm back now. I'm all good. I'm excited to countdown with you all the rest of the way. And, what better way to celebrate the countdown than to contribute with images of Christmas budding in Canada's Capital?
Please forgive the blurriness in the Costco photos. Kim and I were delighted to see this gorgeous fake tree and real lights in Costco about two weeks ago!:

Amen, brother! Thanks, Ryan. It's the Thread of the Season! It really helps me extend my Christmas experience.
I have a Barnes and Noble gift card---now I'm thinking about getting that coloring book and a set of markers or pencils!I sat in front of this and stared at it for a good two minutes. Thankfully, there is a bench right across the aisle from it. Perfect spot:

Sounds like a wonderful day!Good Morning Everyone! I am just stopping in before church. We are off to church, picking up donuts, playing some video games and this afternoon I am catching up on everyone's merry week. Have a great Sunday!![]()
Merry Sunday, Sam~Happy Sunday everyone. I am off work today
Long story short Mum eventually made her visit here. Today is her last day though. She leaves tomorrow. It will be a very tough day so I will come by for some Christmas cheer with my Christmas family here
I hope each of you are well. I have been keeping all of you in thoughts and prayers even though I have not been around much.
Have a lovely day.

Happy Sunday, DYHWIH!Whew, folks. Whew for hot and humid weather that just won't quit! Whew for 115 hours of work in the last two weeks. Whew for trying to get back into a normal rhythm after all that!
Hope to be back here more. Can't believe this week begins the bers! Where did the summer go!?
Thank you! Thanks! You too! How is your dog (Harlowe, right?) doing?
I hear ya! The last months of the year are all great for me. We don't really celebrate Halloween over here, but we do celebrate something called Sinterklaas, which is a feast that starts halfway into November and ends on December 5th. So it's fun to watch preparations for that get underway and to slowly start moving towards the Christmas month(s).
