It's a bittersweet time indeed. Although autumn is my favourite season, I am always sad to see summer go too.

Thanks! I had several nonstop hours and couldn't take my lunch break because of tight deadlines, but I grabbed a string cheese, some applesauce, and some crackers to keep me going.

Well I made a doozie batch of fresh salsa last night! My mouth is on fire, my neck is sweating, my ears are itching but I keep going back for more!! Whew!

I took Gracie for a walk at lunch & it's a lot muggier out there than I thought. I was hoping with 80º & no sun it wouldn't be so bad....WRONG!

Howdy all! It has been busy getting back into the school year. Yesterday was Nathan's 16th birthday! His birthday was filled with an orthodontist appointment and an evening class at the the local community college.

I am glad it is the last day of August. Time to look towards cooler weather and the best time of the year! Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas here we come!!
