I'm not sure where my day went. In fact this has been one of the fastest weeks ever! Thursday tomorrow! Yikes!

Going to start dinner. There is a big match on tonight. I may do some work while the boys watch it. I am behind so hopefully I will have a productive night after the kids are down.

Well, yes and no ... a few weeks ago I found a chocolate orange high up in a kitchen cupboard. The expiration date wasn't until December, but the summer heat and humidity had been hard on it and it had "bloomed" (had that gray look chocolate gets after it softens and hardens several times) and tasted stale. Next time I have an extra chocolate orange I'm puttin' it in the freezer for safekeeping.

My original plan before work today was to start taking some of Carolina's summer clothes out and putting them away but we are still supposed to have some warm weather so that will be waiting until the weekend. I will be putting out more Halloween merchandise at work which makes me excited because there will be more room for Christmas in our stock room.

And a fantastic day to you as well Edge. Don't do the candy as much anymore. The metabolism seems to have slowed a bit and I really do not want to have to go beyond 36s... :D
Going to be in the 70's here again today, but the end of the week will see temps drop back down. Now let's see what happens on Sunday?

Lots of rain yesterday from the remains of Tropical Storm Juia still lurking off our coast. More precipitation for today and possibly tomorrow as well.
We are situated at 71 degrees here currently, with a light rain falling.


Things are ready at the 'Pines.
The fired twinkies are hot and fresh.
The sweet southern iced tea is cool and wet.
The entertainment is world-class.
The host? Well, he's a character!

That is when I have the most fun at Wally World is when the decorations are being put out, since I am usually in that area. Have fun and a great day.

Morning SnowflakeMom. Just work sounds promising. Saw another of your posts. For the past few years, I wake up several times each sleep session, but thankfully I can usually just flip over and am back in the valley of dreams within a few minutes.
Enjoy your day and the time with your daughter this evening.

I always get candy that if it is left over, it will be something that shall be consumed here. I learned that around 35 years ago... lol
