Work right now consists of previewing Christmas videos for use on Christmas Day when we aren't there...don't mind if I do!

How are you feeling now DYHWIH? Hope for both of us that it's nothing.
there seems to be at least one store in Berlin...I never heard of it.....I know TJMaxx....they belong together?I work as an assistant store manager at a large retail store, Winners Homesense to be exact. I think you have Homesense stores in Germany, right? It's the canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx and Homegoods in the US.
Glad to know you're doing better. I'm ok. I was coughing a bit yesterday morning and this morning, but I really think it's related to allergies because I have no other symptoms, other than sneezing that is.Much better! No issues whatsoever. How are you feeling?
Hope everyone is having a great Monday! Got errands and chores done this morning. Then took a nap and was thankfully woken up by a phone call or else I think I would still be sleeping. I've been looking online for savory apple recipes for a sale at work this Friday and I'm thrilled to have found a chicken salad sandwiche recipe with apples and dried cranberries, and a coleslaw with apples. I think that's easy enough to make and serve.
Hello, Friends!
I hope things are Blossoming for you this morning.
Yes, in case you missed it yesterday afternoon, "Christmas Blossoms 2016" is now up, running and already loaded with delightfully seasonal photos.
Be sure to check it out. (And contribute, if you can!)
Our new week numbers:
Days to the Season: 48
Days to Christmas Day: 90
And my concern over the close proximinty of our next Milestone (our LAST Season Milestone, I might add) was justified upon checking the chart. It is indeed shockingly close.
But first, just what IS the marker in question?
Well, get a hold of yourself because this will knock your socks off.
Our next Milestone is none other than the NINETY PERCENT/HOME STRETCH point to the Season.
(That's right. We are really that close.)
And it will arrive in just 11 days -- SINGLE DIGITS FROM THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!
(Holy Holiday, Batman!)
Nice day yesterday with cool temps and no rain. A light sprinkle has just started to fall as I type this, however.
Our back door thermometer reads 65 degrees here in central North Carolina.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
Yes, Winners was bought out by TJX Intl a long time ago, and stores in the US (TJMaxx, Homegoods, Marshalls, Sierra), Canada (Winners, Homesense, Marshalls) and a few places in Europe (TKMaxx, Homesense) and now Australia (Trade Secrets) are all part of the same company.there seems to be at least one store in Berlin...I never heard of it.....I know TJMaxx....they belong together?
You too Festive. Btw your supper sounds delicious. Perfect comfort food for cooler days. That sounds like a delicious choice. I do like apples in savoury dishes and love it in salads too. Great that you got your errands done and got a chance for a nap too. Have a nice evening.
Gracie was born on NYE too!my niece is getting exited for christmas early this year....also because when Christmas is there....her b^day is only a few days away......she´s born on New Year´s Eve......she´ll be 13 years old then......gosh....we´d the time go?
I had to upgrade my phone for the exact same reason last year. I don't regret it. I actually tripled the space because I know my collection will expand. You said it!
I was looking through my Christmas library yesterday, which I usually sync to my phone right after Halloween. (Before then, I listen to Amazon Prime Christmas or Kringle Radio or CDs in the car.) This year it simply ISN'T going to fit onto my phone. And there's darn little that I'm willing to un-check from my sync! I'm seriously considering a new phone, as I have an older 16 GB model ...
Gracie was born on NYE too! She'll be 3!
We can all party together!

Good evening,
The day is coming to an end, it started when we brought the kittens to get their final vaccinations today. I watched an extremely disappointing Bengals game today, they played pretty poorly and the game came down to the last 5 minutes. I was made happy again a few minutes later the Red Sox won their 11th game in a row.
We are in a frost advisory tonight, this cool air is much more my speed.
Back to work in the morning.
Goodnight, everyone
Did she get to see her new swing set?Busy weekend, but a great weekend. Had one heck of a birthday party for the little girl, went out to have a meal, a visit to build-a-bear....and I started transforming my garage into my Christmas workshop. To top it off, I hopped in bed and turn don TV....a little QVCHD home for the holiday special....not too shabby.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Fall arrives tomorrow....it's going to be 17-20 degrees cooler here tomorrow than today....I can't wait!

I can't believe it's 4 days until October. I sent this picture to my sister yesterday...asked her if it was just not a week or 2 ago we picked up this tiny little umbrella plant in Amish Ville, & this cute little orange Gerber daisy...Merry Monday all,
Hectic day ahead so I better get cracking. It is the last few days of September. How is it even possible that in 4 days it will be October !!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the week.

Oh Martine, I feel your pain!! I normally put up with allergies this time of year b/c I dislike how the allergy meds make me want toLucky for you that your allergies are more manageable now. For me it's the reverse. Wake up congested and sneezy. But I can't take allergy medicine, they knock me out.
Crazy how fast it turned chilly!!! Hope you are having a good Monday!Good Monday Morning MMC! Hope everyone is ready for another week. I was up early this morning and ahead of schedule. That's always a nice way to start the week off. The weather has really changed. It feels like summer just shut off suddenly. Still nice enough and warm enough during the day to be mostly comfortable but boy the heat and humidity really just disappeared out of nowhere after being relentless for so long. Ahh well time to enjoy a great Autumn!
Have a great day!
We were much warmer this morning - didn't cool off until after 6am. Moms house was 74º & stuffy! Had to bump her AC down a bit!We were 68F indoors this morning too ... it was in the mid/upper 30s last night. It makes a nice change from the recent humidity. I think the highest high we're expecting this week is just over 70F.
